Awwwww thanks:D:D yes it is great for peace of mind and when he does get back to work and feels able to ,he will be able to look elsewhere for another job with a few months buffer before this one ends ,excellent:)

I know the shock of the accident and it's major injuries has made OH wish for the simpler easier life like part time or a much less stress job but don't we all? What keeps OH where he is along with many others is the mortgage to pay :)

It gives you all breathing space to work out what to do next; as your boys get older and OH gets his strength back, you may find that you all want to take a long hard look at life and change things completely - who knows?

You've been given a gift that's not given to many who have found themselves in the situation you were plummeted into in December - your family is still intact - I'm so happy for you all - good luck! x

Just when we think everything is going fine, well slow but recuperating in the right direction...for a few nights now I have heard OH shout/yelp/scream/make a lot of noises in his sleep whilst trying to turn and mentioned to him, he goes from saying 'oh it's fine, no I didn't, it sounds worse than it is, I'm just trying to find a comfortable spot' to this morning having to admit defeat, that this is not normal and we have to go and see the GP tomorrow.

Lat night while he was asleep he was shouting in pain, asleep and then let out an almighty scream with tears rolling down his eyes, now tell me that is normal? He woke up all confused and when I was trying to explain the noise etc he couldn't handle it and insisted it never took place and went back to sleep.

This morning he can barely move, every time he tries he takes a deep breath and tries really hard to play it down and move but can't, something inside, his bones, stomach, intenstines, kidney, no idea, not a doctor, he needs to define the pain to the GP and get some more x rays/scans/tests done, so far down the line well over 3 months now can the pain/infections come back again? Surely not, maybe it was not properly detected, I don't know, maybe he has re-started something or caused himself an injury whilst trying to get about?

All I do know is he is in a lot of pain.

    Docs tomorrow.

Call 111 if you are very concerned, there is care and advice available, or even go to A&E. Saves another bad night and suffering until tomorrow.

I agree with this. Sometimes you can't wait for a GP.

Followed this thread from the very beginning but I hadn't been checking back in as often as the situation improved for Mr V. Just seen this and seen things aren't as well as expected, hope he has had the tests and they've found the cause of his pain.
