    Hope he recovers quickly OP.

I was that guy in the hospital bed though, came off a bike and smashed my head on a telegraph pole. I never noticed when people were there. I didn't even know where I was when I finally came round so don't think you are doing wrong by not keeping a constant vigil by the bedside.

He'll need you when he does wake up so be strong and ready for that and helping him recover.

    Fingers crossed for you.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?
  • Hi Victory,

I just wanted to offer my support. I've been lurking but not knowing what to say. I also didn't want to say the wrong thing either.

I've been reading though and just want to send my positive thoughts to you and your family to keep going. I hope your DH makes a full and speedy recovery.

Thank you for updating us, its helpful to now how you ALL are doing.

    Fingers crossed for you all.

  • I read back every day to see how you are. I really hope for some good news every time.

It's very early days and so the drs have to work minute by minute which is normal for them but not for you and it must be so very hard.

My thoughts are with you and your family. Look after yourselves

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thank you, at the moment people have stopped telling me about xmas and what a shame it is it happened around xmas and moved on to everything happens for a reason, that this was meant to be and we will be better people for it, that is hard to stomach people are people and no one knows what to say and what to do, my life has gone from hum drum normal, plodding along singing a song to a full blown tornado and coping is beyond difficult, nothing matters now, just my OH going from 'no change' to change.
