thanks for the update Victory.
understandably everyone is upset right now. But, you must all look after yourselves too. and get a rota sorted out for visiting so you don't all turn up en masse. it will make it easier on you all - then whoever is left at home can sort out the 'Everyday' stuff, and make sandwiches etc to keep in the fridge, so whoever is on visiting can take something to eat.
don't be scared of the induced coma - it allows the body to rest and heal. and he will still be able to hear you, and maybe feel your touch.
I think you are doing really well - considering the shock you have just been through! be kind to yourself!0 -

Try and get some rest Victory- saying a prayer for you all xx
(I remember when my Mum was in ICU and no-one had any idea what the outcome was likely to be feeling that regardless of beliefs I felt that prayers, positive thoughts whatever people offered-I'd take everything going ! )I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Keep strong, sweetheart - you ARE a strong person, and you will get through this - hope that you manage to get some rest. I know from personal experience that keeping busy is a way of coping - but try and get five minutes to yourself every few hours - even if you're not a person who prays, find the hospital chapel and sit there for a few minutes and try and find some peace and quiet. That will keep your batteries charged, ready to support your sons - and aren't they doing well!
Lots of love coming your way xxx0 -
Morning, had very little sleep, a whole lot of more people are coming today, it is so busy and yet such a long time of dragging about, phone calls to answer, people to speak to, repetition, it is all going on.
Everyone wants an update and it is so unfair for you, when dad was in ICU, mum switched her phone off and told everyone to stay away unless she specifically asked for them, all calls for updates were directed at my sister.
Mum also set days and times when she would not visit the hospital so that they were available for others, it also gave her a break.0 -
We set up a rota when a family member was in ICU this summer.
We also made sure everyone had a day off each week.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
Sending all good thought to you Victory, i hope that your OH had a better night. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.0
