I just thought diesel engines caught up petrol engines but it seems im way wrong lol.

Petrol hybrids will kill off diesels I think. Even petrol engines are becoming more economical if you look at the new 2015 ford mondeo that runs on a tiny petrol engine.

Would have got DPF removed but that would be a mot failure cause government is so keen of us not getting lung cancer while you can see in the skies that planes are dumping streaks of white s*** into our skies.

Diesels have caught up. They now produce similar power outputs to petrol cars.

Going back to old fashioned diesels that lasted forever and had little to go wrong. But produced about 40bhp.

Petrol hybrids will kill off diesels? What about diesel hybrids?

  • OP you want a car that does not have a DFP? Looks like you won't do many miles, so go for an older e36 or e46 M3. Bullet proof engines and DPF

M3s are the best aren't they

Well they actually are compared to the average UK car. That's not something you can argue on, it's a fact. Even a 20 year old E36 M3 is pretty much superior in every way to most news cars on the road today.

So why don't you have one then?

    Seriously, this again?

Go and read the OP. Then can you say with a straight face that a 20 year old M3 is what they actually want?

M3's are good, but they aren't the best out there, especially at that age, and they certainly aren't what most people want in a car.

Shows just how clueless you actually are!

All these good people trying to help you and you never listen to ANY of the advice given, just make up your own uninformed view of the world without any actual intelligence!

France is planning banning diesel cars, thats a massive shift from a country that was very heavily embedded in diesel technology.

Diesel is dieing, petrol is cleaner and the new low cc, high performance petrols seem to be the finishing blow.
