Ive recieved my letter from court giving me a date of 8th October and to pay £100 allocation fee should i still pay or should i wait and find out the income of all this mess0
-
You need to pay the fee in the due time, you should have a couple of weeks to do this and carry on to court date in October.0

Thank you for that but I think that you should consider editing your post to link to the article rather than c&p it here for copyright reasons etc.
Lotta"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, how big my house was, or what kind of car I drove. But the world may be a little better, because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Where exactly did you get this from?0

I disagree with regards to the courts I have seen no indication that they are going to suspend claims. When I asked the Court Service press office about any general suspension of claims they said " We have nothjing to say on that" So it does not look like there is any general suspension of court claimsAs I am not the Pope or legally qualified I may be wrong so feel free to get a second opinion from a qualified person0

As they offered 3 days before the announcement, and it has now been a week since they said they'd phone me to let me know that they'd dispatched the cheque.0 -
Just recieved notification today via financial ombudsman that although the Halifax does not accept that their charges are unlawful they have agreed to repay us £2133.06 (full claim + interest) rather than enter into a formal investigation with the ombudsman. In the letter it states that the bank may take up to 6 weeks for the bank to make the payment settlement once they have received our acceptance. Whilst this is great news :j and I am ever grateful to yourself and forum members for their support and advice, my question is will we still receive payment within this timescale or will it be suspended in light of recent events?
Thanks.0 -

Yes, you need to start your claim as soon as you get the information you need and if the bank decide to put a hold on your claim at least your claim will be in the system.0 -

The bank have to pay out your claim as they have agreed with the FO so you need to get your acceptance into the post today.0
