Greyqueen, those beards:eek:and nobody EVER compliments me on mine!

I will do the drawers tomorrow morning as I will be home alone.I will end up with nowt as I am non committal about a lot of my clothes.

Primrose, they may sell chicken bits on,to make other things.I once worked in a blue cheese factory,at the end of the day the machines were stripped down and cleaned.Every thing went into a plastic bag, bits off the floor, rind which moved with cheese mites and stuff off the machines. At the start of the day we were given a certain weight in cheese and at the end our waste bag was weighed. We were only allowed a miniscule difference. The bags were sold on to be made into cheese flavour for sauces and crisps.I must say the whole factory was as clean as an operating theatre, and iv'e worked there too!Just as an aside the factory packaged cheese for every supermarket,it was all the same cheese but I doubt the same price.

MIL's garden done,no change in her.

:) B-b-b-but where will the spiders go to die, now? You're such a callous lady, not to think of their final resting place..........:p;)

I also decluttered two of those small batteries, the ones like pills, into the recycling tub at the supermarket. I'd put them in my housekeeping purse a few days ago waiting for just such an opportunity, so was pleased to have remembered them.

Ha ha they can still go into the cupboard under the stairs...freezer in there stops me from clearing that out as can't move the bloomin thing !!

:D They are gathered up by the soft hands of bona fide angels, they ascend with them to heaven, where they are bathed in rainbows, reconsecrated and returned to earth to be incorporated into Ferrer0 Roche chocolates.

What? You thought milk chocolate, nougat and crinkly gold paper was expensive for no reason? Pfft.:rotfl:

:) Nope, just one of those random things. I don't mind eating FR choccies but what I really like is those oblong clear plastic brick-like boxes for storing my sewing threads in. I have tried cultivating FR-eaters so that I can have the empty containers afterwards but people seem to like to keep them for themselves, the selfish besoms.

At least you now know how they're made and why they're so special...... it may not surprise you that school reports for younger me said things like she has a vivid imagination.

Reading between the lines, I think this is teacher-ese for Uh-oh, we've got a right one here..............:rotfl:

My husband has just told me that chocolate scrapped of off factory machines and off the factory floors are bagged up and sent to a processing plant to be melted down and have milk powder added. This is all filtered to remove as much of the dust and dirt that is collected with it from the factory floors. It is then left to stand for 3 days in the open air as indoors would cause the liquid to go rancid. Open air drying is considered the preferred way to let it settle to remove unwanted bubbles and airlocks.

The worst bit is that if it does get an odd bird dropping in it, it can never be removed as this is impossible because bird faeces are heavy they just sink straight to the bottom of the settling tank. Once back inside it is all warmed up and them pumped in to four different chambers on the main factory floor. Where it is them pumped in to moulds made from pig skin to be sent through a chiller to help it set quickly. Then it is cleaned with a detergent spray which is stronger than bleach, just a fine misting for 24 hours. Then a strong chocolate aroma is sprayed all over the moulds minutes before the chocolate is removed for the wrapping process. Job done!!!:rotfl:

NEEDLESS TO SAY!! Since my husband found that out we have never consumed any chocolate since!!!
