    Evening!

School fayre all done and I'm pooped. DD helped set up, bless her, folding tombola tickets into a bowl and laying out teddies. Kiddies had a look round with inlaws, bought some buns and took off. I stayed as I was manning the bake stall. Lots sold but not my Oreo pops :( so I've bought them! Not only did I buy the ingredients, but I put them together, now I've had to buy them back? The most expensive lollies ever, lol.

I've got loads to do this weekend, I have tonight and tomorrow. And I'm shattered. Don't know whether to crack on or have an early night and make a real day of jobs tomorrow :( suppose I should start tonight.

At least the "cafe" had leftovers too so us helpers were sent home with lovely Cornish pasties and sausage rolls. So I've not had to make myself anything to eat. Stuffed now ;)

That's crazy effy when DH was really poorly and due a scan, he was nil by mouth, but they came and put a meal in front of him. There was a big sign up above his bed  he wasn't able to feed himself at this point so it didn't delay his scan but I was so upset about it. And when I finally got his records they had him down as 305 years old. At that point I'd given up.

All the hospital tales make you hopping mad, such bad practice. Friend has red bands on both writsts as she cannot have BP taken on her arms - everytime they go to do it that way, now she can stop them but immediatley post op couldn't.

Cricket done. Got a stocking filler for DS1 whilst I was there.

Spoke to Mum on the phone, she is not having a good day so moaned for 19 minutes.

Really tired now though so 5 minutes clearing up in the kitchen the magazine time for me.

I can't believe that hospitals aren't able to get the basics right for people with known medical conditions. I'm just pleased that nothing serious happened as a result Lamewolf and Bossymoo. I am now doing the only thing on the list I can tick off for today (drinking a glass of wine and having some time for myself).

I must confess that my clearing out of the cupboard under the sink consisted of using up (woohoo!) a spray cleaner bottle. I do have my eye on the leather cleaner for my car though for Sunday :).

It's terrible to hear of all this trouble with wards :(. I always say to people that if they have their own medication, but the Dr hasn't yet prescribed it, "I can't give it to you without a prescription on this chart but, I can't stop you from taking it, wink wink". At least that way, patients get their meds without waiting for hours on end.

Had a chill out evening with hubby who wouldn't let me do any jobs as it was the first night this week that we have both been in! Caught up on some programmes on the sky planner! Also polished off a bag of m and Ms! Oops!
Elf antics took a little longer tonight to set up- a North pole breakfast.
Laid the table with a disposable Christmas tablecoth, Christmas paper cups, plates and napkins. Even got got some straws with tinselly bits on them! Then set up mini bagels, croissants and Christmas tree shaped crumpets (so cute! Saw them in sainsburys and couldn't resist). Sprinkled it all with mini marshamallows and sugar strands. And added some tubs of m and Ms! A little naughty but I thought an elf breakfast had to be a little bit naughty! Lol! Put invitations under the kids doors!

Tomorrow the godparents are taking the kiddies out for the day. We were going to the climbing wall, lunch somewhere and then back to wrap the kids presents. But, couldn't get in at the climbing wall so not sure what to do now. Don't want to waste the day! Mmmmm:think:

    Anyway update...

Hhi x 6!!!!!! (My pile is getting bigger not smaller!)
    Post abroad cards!
    Update remaining present lists

Morning, almost finished my week of nights, two more to do after this one. Iv tried to do as much as I could on the lists which are great and my home is now looking organised. Didnt get much done today as I spent most of the afternoon with my leaf blowe in the front garden, got rid of loads of leaves from flower borders, also tidied the garage, chopped some kindling and swept the driveway. Front of house looking much tidier.

    Morning everyone.

Brrr it's -2 here. Fed cat, made a cuppa and back to bed.

Going into town this morning to meet friends for coffee. Need to get a couple of last minute gifts too. There is a Christmas market on so will have a look round that.

Flying wise the living room, bathroom and kitchen are done. Will sort the bedroom when I come back. Bedding was changed earlier in the week and it's quite tidy so that's not bad. Got some more cards wrote out last night. Will start wrapping tomorrow.

Mrs MP. Hugs and thinking of you.

Sending out healing thoughts to everyone and friends and relatives.
