Narco.. no I've not used it but I will look it might be useful for DS2 too.. I just drop the brightness to nothing until it feels better.. I've been up several times in the night with it waking me up and went to bed because I couldn't see.. I'm just thankful I'm not being sick! This is my 'AF is imminent' thing now I'm getting long in the tooth I think.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that, mummyroys and as pp says what a blessing for him that he didn't suffer for long xxx

Narc0 you couldn't make it up, could you

Well, I finished the LR, found space for DVDs away from where tree will be, hung a load of washing up, set DW and tackled my minging kitchen. It no longer mings ;)

I've washed the window and sill, cleaned the sink, kettle, microwave, toaster and wiped down all the tops. I've polished the mirror doors on my cooker and cleaned the hob, plus cleared a lot of tat out of there. We are looking rather spic and span. Oh and I've put food out for the birds, and emptied the bath of frozen leaves.

I'm debating about the leaves in the back garden, it's dry so ideal, but one tree has not finished shedding. But I think I'm going to have to before they all get wet again. Who knows when I'll get another decent chance like this?

But I'm just having another brew :coffee: then I need some hand cream and lipbalm before I head out there...

I'm really sorry to hear that Mummyroysof3, my thoughts are with you. I hope your head is feeling better soon Pigpen. I have been for a bike ride with DS3 this morning, brrrrr was it cold. This afternoon I need to get next weeks shopping and probably have a tidy up.

I'm enjoying being out in the cold bright weather, generally tidying up the front garden before putting any lights out there. I've got 2 more hours before I need to go to Mum's so should get it finished. I've put the sheets on the line for the minute to see if they dry at all. WM3 in progress.

Piggers I hope the cat reunion goes well

Mummyroy hugs for you all, being quick is a blessing with lung diseaseas, wishing you happy memories.

Sorry to hear about your Grandad, Mummyroysof3. I'd have thought people would understand if you can't attend the funeral; 250 miles is a heck of a journey.

Maybe you could light a candle for him at home. if you can't go, and just sit quiet for a bit, remembering him. This is what Mr LW and I did when Mr LW's sister died.

Piggers lovely pic of the mogs.:o

I've just done the back garden and put the garden vac away. It's not perfect but it's quite breezy and leaves still coming down, but I've got the piles sorted - didn't want them rotting next our lovely playhouse! Which, incidentally, needs some attention too. I used the garden vac to get the leaves out but it needs a quick tidy (may even bring toy kitchen indoors) and the Lino wiping over.

But not today! For now I'm done with cleaning. A quick bite to eat before my friend comes over then I'll start wrapping some presents. Need to decide which two are going to my aunts for Boxing Day and which can stay here for the man in red.

Supposed to be out for tea, not heard and secretly hoping it's cancelled, as I'd like to stay home tonight and finish wrapping in front of the TV with a small tipple ;)

Thankyou for all the lovely messages. Spoke to my mum and they are aiming for the funeral to be one of the Saturdays before Xmas so as she can put us up all 5 of us are going as we should have got on 20th for a visit anyway. Be sad but I'm sure grandma will love seeing kids as it's been a long time. So I need a kick up bum on Monday as lots to fit in before kids break up...bribed my friend to put my tree up coz I hate doing it now I need to find someone to bribe to write my cards lol

Oh dear, pigpen didn't you have this trouble last year? I seem to remember you being upset about possibly not having a tree up? I'm sure it will all come together at the last minute xxx

I've just realised its chilly in here, now I've stopped moving. So the fire is on. I'll put the heating on when the sun goes down to get some of this washing dry. I've got MTV on but it's 2014 number ones, not Xmas music yet. Might do a playlist though as I've sync'd with iTunes and got my Xmas track on, hooray!
