I left for uni at 18, came home at 21 for 6 months then bought my first house, mortgaged, for £22,500
In the crazy days of 100% mortgages (although I did actually have a small deposit) and I'd only had my job for a month and was still on probation (with the mortgage provider, lol)
Nigh on impossible now...Bossymoo

I was 23 in 2009 when i bought my first house. Had never lived away from home before. When i was at uni, it was only 10 miles from home so didnt move out. Stayed at friends flats plenty of times but still official lived at home. This allowed me to save a 10% deposit for the houseMortgage = [STRIKE]£113,495 (May 2009)[/STRIKE] £67462.74 Jun 20190

Aged 19 - moved to go to college. Went back very briefly between long trips abroad until the last trip which was a move to London. Stayed there for 17 years but returned to N.Ireland about a decade ago with enough dosh to buy a house. Would love to live somewhere else before I kick the bucket, thinking south of France but don't know if I am brave enough to do it. I'm on my own though, never been married and never lived with anyone, have lived alone for the past 24 years.0

I was aged 22 when I finally moved out for good.
Left several times before temporarily, but left at 22 when I got my own place.

I was 20, recently married and had a 9 month old baby. We moved into a lovely ground floor, 2 bedroomed flat with a garden, in London and the rent was only £90 a month! That was back in '84. Those flats cost about £1500-£1700 to rent now. :eek:0

16, the second I was old enough to leave I legged it, and never went back (well except for brief and traumatic visits, when duty called).
I would have left before if I could have! There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0 -
I'm 26 and still technically live at home... well thats where most of my post goes (and I still have a bedroom
).
I left home at the beginning of the summer when I was 18 got a live in job before going to uni, I went home for the first summer for 2 months and then after finishing uni and travelling I was home for 6 weeks before getting another live in job and thats where I've stayed for just over 4 years, 5 more months (Fingers crossed) before I go travelling again without a return date in mind :rotfl:
xxThanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. Currently living and working in Canada  :dance:0 -
16 the first time for about 6 months and then moved back home again when the agreement was up. Finally left for the last time a week after my 18th birthday to move in with my then boyfriend, we then bought our own home the month after we married when I was 20.
Eldest left for uni when he was almost 20 (October born and an extra year in 6th form), middle son still here at 18 but another October born and still has this year to go in 6th form.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I moved out in 2007 aged 23 when I bought a house with my then boyfriend. I moved back home in 2012 when the relationship broke down and moved out again last year after meeting OH. I'd previously vowed never to live with another man again so I surprised myself!0
