I went ravelling after uni till I was 22 and then moved back home, Bf moved back in with his parents and we both got jobs. 18 months later we bought our first house together and moved out at 24. We are now 27!

I moved out at 18 for Uni. Moved back to my home town at 23, bought a house at 25 and mum moved with me, nan then moved in a year later due to her health. But mum does have a mini 'flat' going on upstairs to have her time, so it does work mostly

  • Moved out at 21 to live with my boyfriend. Then the house rental wasn't really working out so we both moved back home for a few months but it was the nail in the coffin for our relationship - I cheated on him, things got rather messy and I ended up going on a break to visit family and friends round the country. I never went back home, I just stayed in Somerset. I was 23 by then.

19 when i left to go to Uni, though was at home for holidays

at 24 when i finally left uni and moved in with my now OH, they let my brother have my room

But now i have an 18 year old just gone to uni - it's hard to think she might class that as "leaving home"
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • When I graduated at 21, I went home and was given 6 weeks to get a job and leave. So I did. Bought my flat in London aged 23.

I went back home aged 29 when my step-dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness to help care for him. After a few months, we all realised I would be far more help as a carer if I didn't live with them 24/7, so I bought a house nearby.

I've not lived at home since then.

20 to go to uni. Never crossed my mind to move back although I did visit at times, which did my head in. Also, I was told at the airport just as I was about to go through security that "next time you come back, you're a guest". Nice *rolleyes*

I was 24 when I moved out with my boyfriend. We're 27 now and moving into a house we're buying next week! :j

I'd still be at home if I didn't have my boyfriend to live with though. It's tougher on your own, especially if you want to buy at some point!

I'd love it if houses were still 4k and a mortgage was £35 per month!
