27 and still living at home.
Had I not been suffering ill health for the past 8 years, i'd have hoped to have moved out by 25. My plan at 19 after finishing College was to get a job, save up and see what is next. Sadly a few months after making that plan I got sick. And there is no end in sight.
Now i'll be lucky to get out before I am 300 -
I moved out at 18 when I went to uni - I did spend 4 weeks back there one summer, toughest thing I've ever done. After uni, I moved straight into my first rented place, which I've only just moved out from (renting a much bigger place with my husband)
In contrast, my older brother is 27 and still living at home (and his girlfriend has moved in too!) he moved out to go to uni, (at 24 - he'd been in the forces before then, so had lived at home then too!) but can't afford a place on his current salary, can't find full time work, so is still living at home with ma! (Which actually makes sense, seeing as it's a 4 bed house and she's on her own otherwise)
I can't imagine ever being able to afford to BUY a house though!Officially saved enough to cover the cost of our wedding! :A0 -
Sort of moved out when I was 19 to go to Uni, came home most weekends and for the holidays but never officially moved back in.
Started renting a house with my boyfriend when I was 21 and moved into that in the April, before graduating in the July.
That was last year and then this year we bought a house, although we are in the Midlands so it is a bit easier than London!0 -
21, I moved into a house with a friend.
Then at 23 moved into b/f house, we sold that then brought a house together when I was 24 (and got married).
We (plus 2 monsters) now live in the house I grew up in, we purchased it from my parents when I was 28.
Does that mean I'm now living back at home?Kate short for Bob.

18 to go to Uni and then only back for holidays. Bought first house after 6 months working at the age of 21 with then boyfriend and another friend (only way to afford a place in London).
Couldn't go back now - the Christmas visit and occasional weekends is enough.0 -
