Evening all and a blustery rainy night up here!! Can't complain too much as we have been lucky.................. so far!!

Mrs_Hutchins - welcome to both MSE and this thread - good luck with your savings.

debtfreeby30? - ouch with that boiler!! Good luck.

Just a single £2 coin potted today. But steadily potting along.

  • Haven't posted as there has basically been no potting from me lately. A few pennies here and there but nothing too exciting. I'm pretty sure I won't reach my target since at the moment I really need every penny I can get, but whatever I end up with at the end of the year will be fine by me. :)

Decided to brave the sales today, and was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was! (roads were horrific though!) DS decided he wanted to shop with his mate rather than his totally uncool parents, so DH, DD and I went round on our own and DD got thoroughly spoilt :D got her an entire new wardrobe for about £80 which included a coat!

Bless her, it was needed as ever since she was born i've either picked her up the odd item or shes had her brothers hand me downs (the pleasures of a tomboy ;)), as I said to DH, she rarely gets spoilt like her brother did so it was about time she got a day all about her :D she was thrilled and found it highly amusing that all her clothes went through the till as 'young boy clothes' :rotfl:

came home with 4 x £2 coins and 42p in change as well so YAY! :D:D

Soo sorry to hear about your boiler.

Did a little shop at A*di - lots of herbs and spices reduced to 29p and 39p :T

Then went to DSD and family and had a lovely dinner. Now home for a bit of r&r, including a nice cuppa.

    Potted some change - around a £1's worth but didn't count :)

Hope you all have a super Sunday

Evening all! Sorry I've not been around lately. Was hard at work volunteering, then had friends to visit and (obviously) Christmas!

I've also not potted anything in a couple of weeks. 50p went in yesterday. Still saving as normal anyway so my pot is just a little extra really :)

Sorry to read of some Christmas woes. Big love!

Aha...about time you made an appearance, mummytummy, and good to hear you're now getting the chunks in your pot. I bet the weather's beautiful down under. :D
