Thanks for my star SueUU  Been watching a disability football tournament today (in the cold) and not exactly top class football - not that I like football anyway but screaming my head off to support my ds :j - anyway, good karma came my way and had my first roadkill in months - 6p found in the grass - which I daren't say was the highlight of my day :rotfl:
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Ooooooh thank you for my Star Sue!! :)

So, I know that it's perfectly acceptable to, ahem, frisk OH's for their change....but I don't have an OH....so I ended up pretty much frisking my ex-OH... :D LoL... :D

He came over today and I demanded he give me his change so I could Pot it....bless him...he's a sweetheart...and I'm blessed that we still get on so well....

So that's just over £3 in change Potted....so I'm rather pleased with my illicit frisk :D

Nothing else to Pot from my Purse tonight as I didn't spend anything today....but should have at least a little bit to Pot tomorrow when I get home....

*Hugs* to those that need them....xXx
  • Hi, Can I join this thread please? I just need to find or make a sealed pot. I think I'll pop to Poundland tomorrow and see what they have. x

Firstly thank you all so much for your kind words and understanding. I appreciate this isn't the place to be blurting out such personal sadness as everyone here has their own things going on. But it has meant so much knowing people who I don't know can care so much, and care enough to share kind words and their own sad and personal experiences.

I can't wait to get this year over with, I know it won't change anything and things will still be crappy for a long time and will take us further away from a time when we were happy. But I can't bear this raw pain.

32b3 - I didn't take offence, in fact it made me smile, we do feel a little like doggy was depressed for the last few weeks and was missing dad/ master, although it could also have been the illness causing it. We definitely feel he gave up a little quicker than if other recent events hadn't occurred. Bless his heart.

Lynne - sorry to hear about your family bereavements. That must have been awful.

AlwaysHappy and scotmum - I'm so sorry to hear of the loss you both suffered. It is truly a horrendous time. I can't imagine being at the point you now are. What I can't bear is the thoughts about what dad is missing, and how my little boy hasn't got his grandad, and how my little one went looking for doggy this evening and not understanding.

And thank you Sue for your lovely words. Right words at the right time as usual. :A :A

Anyway I have decided to pot what's left of my weekly money so £5 potted, that's £7 this week.
