Evening
No potting for me as I haven't been out. I have finished all my Christmas wrapping though
ETO, I found that the first year is the worst, you have to get through all the events you would have celebrated together. Christmas is certainly the worst time though. My dad died 19 years ago and I still dread Christmas day. we all just go through the motions really.
I can't wait for the grand total from SPC 7

Hugs to you ETO, stay strong.
Another 2 x £2 coins potted today and a bit of change.
Haven't found any nice tins for potting into but did find a big cardboard tube-type box thing in one of the £ shops, with a lid and a handle. I think it's meant as a gift box for a bottle of booze but I can put it to far better use by taping the lid on and putting a slot in the top :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Well after my shopping trip I had £4.92 to pot so pleased with that
Also had some vouchers for the supermarket so saved that into our joint savings as they were from both of us although I felt like giving the woman in said supermarket an earful as she told me that I could only use one voucher at a time (I had 3 in total) if I read the small print!!
..... Well just to make a point I put my main shop in the car and then went back in and bought another £10 meat and some dishwasher tablets and cleaner to make it £10 for that too to get in total £6 off and then asked/told (firmly but politely) the lad on the checkout that I wanted to buy my chicken separately as I had a voucher for this and also for my cleaning - since I could only use them one at a time .....
He was very apologetic
I know it was not his fault but if they send them out together you should be able to use them together
sorry rant over....
Anyway put my £11 of vouchers and the other moneys from offers into the savings so had about 20quid so very happy with that :T:T
Also got the tree up.....(will finish off other bits of decs tommorow)
Still waiting on the snow......:eek:Meowhouse SPC #7 no 199 £560.58

Morning, another shiny pound coin potted yesterday into my new sealed tin, looking forward to seeing grand total for SPC number 7, my OH has started to participate as well, though he pots his own 20p pieces in his own pot, but going to try to persuade him to join forces with me, my pot money from SPC 7 went towards holiday fund, but this challenge I have decided I would like a Panasonic breadmaker, apparently the king of breadmakers according to someone I know, any thoughts on the subject of breadmakers?SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350
