Everyones posts of loved ones passing reminded me of something from when my great nana passed away, I was only young and my nana was in hospital and she kept talking to someone that no-one else could see, just general chit chat and I asked my mum who she was talking too. Mum said 'when its time for you to leave, someone you know comes to get you and take you on, thats who nana's talking too.' I always liked that thought, made me feel that its never goodbye when you pass away, its only see you later

Decided it was time to sell my meerkats as im getting fed up of them cluttering up the place! 2 gone so £20 in my pot, plus DH asked me to find a card he gave me yesterday, lifted my computer and there was 2 x £1 coins under there :eek: no idea how long they've been there or how they got there as its only me that uses this laptop! but in the pot they have gone as I obviously didn't miss them!

Ahhh, jakes-mum, that wasn't a little bit strange at all, it was beautiful and what a marvellous way for your Mum to have got it across to you. Thanks so much for sharing ith. Whose to say it isn't the case either.

Thankfully, that's the last hair trim til the New Year, I hate having my hair cut and would sooner go to the Dentist, truly!Was just starting this post and DH came and held his hand towards me, he indicated me to open mine (??????:eek:) and then put 3 x £3 coins in and 6p in coins! Do I need to say I nearly skipped to the pot?!!!!!! :j

I managed to get a lovely roll of wrapping paper from WHSmith courtesy of O2. It was meant to cost £1. Also had some spare 85p in my purse so i have potted a total of £1.85

53p potted for me today. Still nothing from DD but DH gave me a penny Glad he could spare it. He must not have spent all his copper on my xmas present :rotfl:

SueUU I need to get my hair cut too before Xmas but going to try my old hairdresser as the last twice I have been it's been a new girl and I've not been as pleased with it - having short hair is worse than being bald! :eek: (long hair is much easier I think?) but well if I can get some of those £3 coins I'll put up with a bad hair cut - where did your lovely DH get those

Evening all. I potted but forgot what. Pfffft. I am a bit upset after my rings have gone from the tray next to my bed. Father in law has suggested birds flew in and took them. Mother in law suggested they rolled off under the bed. Pulled everything out but couldn't find. I took them off because my hands are swelling - never ever taken off before. I have run out of ideas and dining that like my money disappearing no one cares!

Sorry just frustrated.
