Everyones posts of loved ones passing reminded me of something from when my great nana passed away, I was only young and my nana was in hospital and she kept talking to someone that no-one else could see, just general chit chat and I asked my mum who she was talking too. Mum said 'when its time for you to leave, someone you know comes to get you and take you on, thats who nana's talking too.' I always liked that thought, made me feel that its never goodbye when you pass away, its only see you later
Sorry if that was a bit strange
Decided it was time to sell my meerkats as im getting fed up of them cluttering up the place! 2 gone so £20 in my pot, plus DH asked me to find a card he gave me yesterday, lifted my computer and there was 2 x £1 coins under there  no idea how long they've been there or how they got there as its only me that uses this laptop! but in the pot they have gone as I obviously didn't miss them!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Evening everyone, I hope you've all had a good day and can settle down for a cosy night in.WantToBeSE wrote: »Sue, I have checked the first 2 posts and on the 2nd post my name isn't up there yet, but I'll keep checking back and add my number to my sig once I have one.
Really WantToBeSE????!! I find it so hard to believe!I hope you've now received my PM apologising for the awful oversight. It doesn't happen often, but even I make mistakes...not many...not often!
So sorry to have you keep checking, but it is there now, honest!
Frogletina wrote:I had two weeks money in my purse last week and overspent on my food budget but had money left from my other cash budget. I put the balance of that into my pot, £13.65. I decided not to cross subsidy.
Now I have to see if I can manage this week with a reduced food budget.
If I do manage to only use the food money I have budgeted for this month then I will have kept to the budget I made for the whole year which will probably be a first.
I'm rooting for you, Frogletina, and really hope you get there!!! :j
VERY good, siju, keep em coming!!
A lovely sum again, Kerry. I'm still thinking of you with that darned cough. :grinheartmilky1991 wrote:£4.37 has descended into my pot today 2 x £2 coins and a bit of change ( I'm going to need a bigger pot )

Not to worry, sexyshark, the main thing is that you've potted some, that's all that counts.Everyones posts of loved ones passing reminded me of something from when my great nana passed away, I was only young and my nana was in hospital and she kept talking to someone that no-one else could see, just general chit chat and I asked my mum who she was talking too. Ahhh, jakes-mum, that wasn't a little bit strange at all, it was beautiful and what a marvellous way for your Mum to have got it across to you. Thanks so much for sharing ith. Whose to say it isn't the case either.
Thankfully, that's the last hair trim til the New Year, I hate having my hair cut and would sooner go to the Dentist, truly! Was just starting this post and DH came and held his hand towards me, he indicated me to open mine (??????) and then put 3 x £3 coins in and 6p in coins! Do I need to say I nearly skipped to the pot?!!!!!! :jEnjoy your evening folks.

SueUU I need to get my hair cut too before Xmas but going to try my old hairdresser as the last twice I have been it's been a new girl and I've not been as pleased with it - having short hair is worse than being bald! (long hair is much easier I think?) but well if I can get some of those £3 coins I'll put up with a bad hair cut - where did your lovely DH get those
On a potting front just my daily fiver for taking lunch into work again today

Merry Christmas everybody :xmastree:0 -
Evening all. I potted but forgot what. Pfffft. I am a bit upset after my rings have gone from the tray next to my bed. Father in law has suggested birds flew in and took them. Mother in law suggested they rolled off under the bed. Pulled everything out but couldn't find. I took them off because my hands are swelling - never ever taken off before. I have run out of ideas and dining that like my money disappearing no one cares!
Sorry just frustrated.SPC#19 - 7-£666.54, 8-£489, 9-£264 10-£376 11- £305.8p 12 £329 13 - £315 14/£214 15 £177 16 £253 SPC 17 £0 of £250
