Maybe its a new sealed pot!everyone knows its bad luck to give a money box/purse/wallet to someone without money already inside
Re: the gas/elec suppliers, I thought that they now had to pay you interest on any money that you are in credit with them  I know ovo do, I could be wrong so do check ML energy info before you start banking with them :rotfl:
DH just came back from his uncles house with over £100 in change  seems that is our christmas present, obviously he knows me alot better than I thought :rotfl: Have changed it all up into notes and large coins from my purse and bagged it up for tomorrow, so now have a £2 coin for the £2 coin tin and £4.37 in a range of 10p's 5p's and 2p's :j:jSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

NO, absolutely NOT, scotsmumof3! You have to simply suffer and keep potting!!! Sorry, not a lot of help am I, ne'r mind eh! :rotfl:Saver-upper wrote: »Hi Sue-UU.Last September I changed energy providers (British Gas to M+S).My monthly bills for gas and electricity immediately dropped, and about June this year I was thrilled to find M+S had refunded £340-350-ish(cant remember exact amount).I hadn't asked for it,nor expected it.At the same time they also reduced my monthly DD's for gas and electricity.
I think if you are too much in credit with energy suppliers, you can ask for it back.I am not on Twitter, but on the links to Twitter on the right hand side of these pages there are people Tweeting to Martin that they phoned up,and got back 100's of pounds.
The argument is that British Gas/SSE/n-power,et al are not banks, and you have no desire to "bank/invest" your money with them for them to claim the interest. You are entitled to ask for it back.
Definitely worth a phone call.
oooooh, that's so good to know, Saver-upper, especially as we're with SSE!!!!! :j I see the argument as to why they shouldn't keep it, after all, they keep our money and gain interest on it!!!
I'm on Twitter and follow Martin, but have been to busy to go on much lately! Thank you so much for all your help on it, definitely worthy of a phone call.
Marvellous work, cheexy!! :T You've got the right idea, keep potting as best you can!
Thanks for your thought too on the fuel suppliers, jakes-mum, and how VERY generous of your DH's Uncle, bless him that is such a gift.Have a lovely evening, SPCers!!
