Phew, what a day, folks, too much shopping, cleaning and so many odds and s!ds! Still, all done for the weekend so I'm well happy. :grinheart
BTW, dear friends: Here's an update on our DD, she's been on her MS medication for 2 whole weeks so now we wait and hope that injecting herself daily just might halt her relapses! There's no guarantees and the stats aren't at all high, but she still remains eligible for any of the more powerful drugs IF Copaxone don't help. Well, I said I'd keep you in the loop so this is right up to date. Thanks dear SPCers.
Poor baby Jack, I do hope he's soon much better, Hicksy. 7 months old tomorrow, crikey that soon flew by! Great news on the wages front, you sound far happier now and I'm really pleased for you. :grinheartBack from Kos lovely time had by all and potting a few pound here and there wherever I can snaffle it from, looks like everyone's getting excited to open the savings can't wait to do that with a full pot next year
Feed off of the excitement and elevation of us all this year, Justforme, as it's amazing how fast it'll all come round again - and be YOUR TURN!!!!I'm delighted you had such a wonderful time, and stayed a true SPCer....grabbing all you cash you could. Keep it going!
Well done with the cash, Kerry, you have a good weekend too.
I can inderstand your your thoughts, Saver-upper, but...if it was me then I think I'd include the lot in this year's Total and start afresh on the 6th. It may even act as an incentive to make you want to push on even harder during SPC 9 and possibly.......get more!!! :j
WOW, 32b3, not long now until you're jetting off for an amazing time! Be sure to pack all you need...as if you wouldn't but....!Sue, I have counted and bagged up so my total for #209 is £639.45
Emily xx
Emily that is just fantastic, I'm so thrilled for you. Many congratulations, to DH also!!!!!!! :T:j:T I bet you're elated with this year so far.
You're doing so well, Chutney.
Good for you, Lynne, and let's hope the weekend brings more spoils for you to pot! :j Thanks so much for all your help. :A You don't happen to watch Strictly by chance!
Another £10er in the pot!!!!! DH wasn't even really aware he'd handed it to me, he didn't get a chance to take it back though!! :rotfl:Have a GREAT WEEKEND, Potters, and do remember to SAVE.......just 5  days to go!!!
Sue xx

Morning potters!
I've potted a few £1 coins pinched from hubby when he said "where can I put these?" They were in my pot before he could think about it. A few odd coins in the odds & sods pot too.
I'm so excited now. I haven't kept track at all because I'll be tempted if I know how much I've got lol. The ££s pot is heavy though. I've also got my pots ready for the next challenge. I'll do the same again and have a ££s pot and an odd sods pot xxSPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Hi Sue,
Glad you missed me!Thanks for the tip re turning the brightness down on the PC. Anything is worth a try but I have new 'floaters' in my left eye which are right in the middle of my vision and 'flashing lights' which I was worried might be a detached retina  I am hoping things will settle down soon. Just awaiting my new £250 specs ( I had to buy 2 pairs  one for everyday and a 'computer' pair too)
I do hope your DD is on the right track re medication. It's such a worrying time for you and T. G is creaking along, thanks!
Just a few odd bits of change to pot today as it's the end of the month and the bank account has been squeaky clean for 2 weeks
It's my birthday tomorrow and OH is at work so I am going to DD's for lunch...yippee!
I am sorting out my bank bags ready for next week, it's exciting!
