Good Morning everyone! I hope you all had a good day yesterday, a good night too. Enjoy your day today, and be careful of that wind! To all those unwell or a little on the low side I hope these special {{{Hugs}}} will help things brighten up. :grinheartSaver-upper wrote: »A lovely day had by all.We even packed a picnic, despite the weather tipping down all morning.
Tonight I emptied all the loose change I had in my handbag, into my pot: £4.49.including 4 £1 coins :j (There does actually seem to be a 50p coin lost in the lining of my handbag-I can feel it,but cannot see for the life of me,a tear where it might have escaped through.Might have to tear apart my £15 handbag to save my 50p piece and get it into the pot :rotfl::rotfl:.)
Where is jakes-mum? She hasn't been here for days!I hope she isn't going to be late for pot-opening day,or even, forget it altogether :eek:.She is probably busy penning a "Please Sue,can I open my pot now ,Sue-please?" letter. Come back jake's mum!!
I'm so pleased you and the kiddies had time out together, Saver-upper, it does you all good. The picnic was a great idea, so long as you've somewhere to keep dry, why worry about the weather! Be careful with that handbag especially as it might just be something else in there..though not much else feels like a 50p now does it. Great savings.
Re jakes-mum, she's quite possibly spending time with her youngsters too; contrary to SPC belief she isn't always velcroed to MSE...although let me give that some thought. Don't worry Saver-upper I've already received the "Please Sue,can I open my pot now ,Sue-please?" post, that was weeks ago as others will testify to! She's a [STRIKE]blighter[/STRIKE] lovely one (uncrosses her fingers after saying that.chucked in the final few coppers to my pot.. having bought a car today i cashed out £400 from my pot alongside the £320 last month i dont think ive done too bad..

On my way home from work this morning I dropped into a local shop to buy few essentials. From the change,I potted the only £2 coin.
For this years SPC I did buy a tin especially for £2 coins. Now,admittedly,I have not "tinned" every £2 coin that has come my way,but even still, that tin is very very empty-probably only got about 10-15 coins in it (I might be able to shine a torch into tin later to check).
Does everyone think I am better off not opening that tin this week (I have 3 other tins divided into denominations),and trying seriously to fill it for SPC9,or shall I include it in this challenge? Answers on a postcard, please.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Will they be able to get her a present without your help? maybe wait and see how much it will be, give them some and use the rest for a nice meal before you go away or when you come home and can't be bothered to cook x
One of the elder kids would get her something from the two youngest I would imagine. There will only be a weeks worth of savings so there won't be much in there. Enough for some smellies or some chocolates.
I'll see if any of the others volunteer and if not they can have tin and get the present. I will start again when i get back from NY. This time next week i'll be there :j:jSPC9 #125 - £816.85
