Friday afternoon is Buy-Sweets-At-The-Corner-Store-After-School afternoon in the Saver-upper household (try saying that very fast!!).
I got lots of lovely coins in my change (4x £1,2x20p).I have checked all my pockets, and I seem to have lost one of the 20p pieces:o.Maybe Cheexy will find it,practising picking up roadkill without conscience :j.My 5yo offered me the 5p roadkill she had found in the shop :A,but I told her to put it in her tin when she gets home instead.
So,before any more coins try to make their escape,I potted the remaining £4.20.Lots of lovely £1 coins at once :j.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Morning all, thanks for lovely new thread. Iv started well and have been potting bits and bobs over the last few days. I bought myself a new Sealed pot that I cant get into, my old pot will be turning into a holding pot for emergencies/incidentals/unexpected, I will empty it into my sealed pot at the end of every month. I dipped in several times in challenge 7, and was left feeling guilty till I had replaced what I took out. Happy potting peeps.SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

Morning Everyone
ETO...thank you hun.....I'm doing okay so far.....Was supposed to have my Procedure at the Hospital next Wednesday but, ummmm, it's that time of the month and I don't think I can have it done when it's that time....so I may have to Postpone...but it will get done so I'm staying Positive....
Potted £1.95 last night....Might be able to Pot a little bit more tonight...not sure at the moment....I'm at Work all day today and then tomorrow my Ex is coming to take me out to Lunch and then I'm off to Mum's....so I won't need what is in my Purse...so I should be able to Pot it...but I'm just being cautious because, as I've said, I don't want to Pot it and then need the money....so if I still have it there by tomorrow Night I will Pot it...I currently have £5 in coins in my Purse and I'm planning on taking out another fiver today....so we'll see what I've got left...
Feeling VERY positive today....not sure why but I'm not going to complain!!
Right...must grab some Brekkie and then head off to Work for the Day....see you ALL later on xXx0 -

Hi Helen, such a shame about not being able to have your op done, but I doubt they would do it when it's TTOTM. Never mind, no doubt they'll only postpone it for a short while Meanwhile I'm pleased you're going for a meal with your ex tomorrow, your Mum's also. It's so lovely to hear you're remaining so upbeat, no pint in doing anything else though.
Bless your little 5 year old, Saver-upper! I love the generosity of little ones. Good luck with the 20p,don't let it hide!
I'm pleased you're playing it safe and using the holding pot, cattysmum, far more sensible.
Wasn't it a lovely crisp morning, AlwaysHappy, everything always feels much cleaner after a frost. Went for a walk with DH and our Lab and took some photos of the sun on frosted vegetation/trees etc, lovely.Enjoy your weekend, folks!! :j Save well!

Afternoon all
Just popping on as need some hugs and lovely words. We've just had to make a most horrendous decision. Our family pet dog, (my mum and dads dog) has just had to be put to sleep. It's awful and only 7 weeks after losing our beautiful dad. It's been the worst year. And just don't think we can take anymore. I can sincerely say if I didn't have my family and baba I wouldn't bother anymore. It's just horrendous. He was a link to our dad and now he's gone. It's heartbreaking.SPC 18 Target £200 /0
