Please could I join your SPC for 2015?
I've never done it before but the rules look simple enough and the amounts saved are brilliant.

8-of-us welcome to the thread. Sounds like you have read through the rules already but page 1 is a very useful resource to us all at any time. Sue will be along shortly to give you a number, all you need to do is grab a pot, seal it and find some change to stick in it

You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2nd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 5th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.



Well, 8-of-us, I bet you take a lot of feeding, let alone a LOT of presents to be bought at Christmas/Birthday time! In which case budgeting well and saving EVERY penny possible will be greatly beneficial!!

You've obviously read the rules well so...save whenever you can and POT it safely and life will be a whole lot easier for you this time next year!! If ever you need any help, please just ask as there are plenty of us here only too glad to be helpful.

Not so much the feeding but the laundry!!
Sealed pot will come in handy for many things so looking forward to seeing how we do.

Afternoon all.

8-of-us - welcome and good luck.

I'm still using a trusty whisky carton to save. It hold approx £700.
A single £2 coin potted from Lidl change.

Have potted £8.90. 5p of that was road change. My Mum said that I must have cats eyes to see the money, as found some money on the way home from work in the dark.


Sue - cough comes and goes. Finished a temp job today, but have a couple of hours work on Monday.

I potted £2.61 yesterday (I think) and £3.20 today.

So happy that my alarm isn't going off tomorrow.
