Little Miss Gap saw my new pot for the first time yesterday (it is not hidden, she just hadn't noticed). She said "Awww that's a really cute pot." I said "Thanks. It is my sealed pot for this year." She said "Yeah, it looks like something you would find in a kid's bedroom." :o I love it though :D

7p in the "childish" pot today! :)

Tis true what Ruth's told you, GAP, it'll slow down in a few weeks, but for now it's lovely to have the excitement of it all.

Re your little Gap, don't you believe her as...she may well be after it for her own room - with the contents of course!!! :rotfl: Please don't ever panic about feeling you HAVE to read all the pages you've missed though s you don't; if you wish to then that's a different matter, each to their own. ;)

More money in the pot can only be good, Merry. Good to hear you had a lovely lunch and catch-up with your friends.

Ooooh, by golly it's bitter out there now! Keep warm, folks and safe! :)

  • £2.19 about to be potted. :) Just done my big shop for the month for food and toiletries and was in loads of different shops trying to get the best prices for everything I wanted. Decided that anything smaller than a 50p in my change would be potted and £2.19 is what I've ended up with. :)

    Evening all.

Lots more new potters - welcome and good luck with all your savings.
(Sue checked sigs - lol) :p

skilly - nice to see you back posting. Hope you are well.

Not much going on here (savings-wise), just a £2 coin potted over the last few days.

I did "invest" some of last years money on two flights to the Algarve for next October (seems ages!!), as the easyJet flights for October were out this morning. No rooms booked yet.

I should get something to pot tomorrow as I'm popping into Lidl and I normally pay cash there.

    Evening All :)

Potted £2.95 tonight....But I promise I am behaving myself....I still have money in my Purse and I HAVEN'T Potted it because last Year's Pot got opened several times because I ended up Potting everything and then needed the money....So THIS Year I'm only Potting what I can afford to Pot....and I'm making sure I have plenty of money in my Purse to survive on.... :D

Feeling absolutely knackered so I'm off to bed...got an early start in the morning....

    See you all tomorrow ;)
