Evening all, just caught up on the thread - aren't we all off to a fab start this year? £1.10 for the tin tonight.

OH left his change on the table when we came home from an evening out tonight.Lots and lots of gold coins :j,I snaffled one £1 coin for the pot .

Bought myself a nice new tin for the next year, it was only £1 andwill sit on the side as icome in the door as a reminder to empty my pockets in the hope of getting a bigger target than last year.

.....and the rest, Saver-upper?!! Only joking as I guess you knew he'd know then it was all gone instead of thinking there "just may have been more" with only a £1 missing. Far better in the pot though!

Nipped in to Sainsburys for a pint of milk and the self service machine gave me 4 £2 coins. I nearly fainted with glee. Have potted these along with a rogue 50p I found in my gym bag. I have also popped a £5 note in, which is my share of the winnings from the pub quiz we won tonight - I hope that is allowed Sue.

Welcome Hoipolloi just follow Sue-UU instructions in the 1st post it will tell you all you need to know and she will allocate your number when she's back on later

Good luck with potting you'll be surprised at how much you actually save, keep popping on every now and again or daily and join in the banter and let us know how you're doing


You don't need to have a set target, I don't, and its amazing to see how much you can save over the year

Hoipolloi - No, you don't have to have a Target at all, some do so to spur them on, but it's up to the individual - I don't! Do have a look at the 1st post for help as there's so much to guide you there. Enjoy saving!

You're going great guns, Nix, I s'pose some of it's newbie enthusiasm, but I reckon you've become addicted!! I still LOVE potting after 7 years of it. Wallow in it and POT POT POT!!!!! :dance:
