£2.16 potted today as I had to break into a fiver for the car park and then found a few more odd pennies.
Beautiful moon I can see through the velux window tonightò

Sealed Pot Challenge #220 :staradmin :staradmin '16 £17.010 -
I had a lovely day today. I went on a bike ride with my cycling club, it must be New Year because there were far more out today than over the past few rides. Oh well, I can't criticize, I haven't been out for a while myself - not due to lack of motivation but more to lack of time. Last time I was out I had a puncture so DH showed me how to fix it myself if I have one miles from home. We discovered that my pump was dodgy (well, didn't work at all) so we went to our local bike superstore to buy one. He needed some inner tubes as well. I remembered that I had a voucher in my email inbox as a result of an offer before Christmas so my super new £20 pump was effectively free! Yay. Go me! :j I will pot £10 of that into the dog.
Anyway, nothing much else to report other than the bike ride was good despite the rain pouring down for almost the whole ride. Strangely, that didn't bother me at all today. I must be getting tougher.
It is lovely to hear about everyone's different lives. I hope you all get sorted out, health-wise and home-wise if you are struggling. xSealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Ah..it's good to see you at last, bossymoo, and I'll be pleased to see you over on SPC 7 HERE with your savings Total just as soon as possible please! Thanks so very much. BTW, we are now bringing the declaration date forward so members have their cash earlier to spend. It will now be on the 5th November in 2015!!!! So, if you also could please remember that we go out with a BANG on Bonfire night I'd be so grateful!!
OMG I'm sure I've already done it at the end of November but yes I'll go do it again. I bet I've put it on the wrong thread
ETA found it hereBossymoo

Evening Everyone
Thank You for my new Star Sue....It's all shiny and sparkly and I love it!!
I'm feeling a little better both physically and emotionally..hope it lasts for the rest of the Weekend, I could really do with a break from feeling rubbish!! Still, at least I am feeling better right now...which can only be a good thing
As I haven't been out today and haven't spent anything I decided to Pot an extra fiver....If I had gone out then I definitely would have spent at least that....So I'm pleased because today I have Potted £10 altogether
Welcome Again to the Newbies....and *Hugs* for anyone that needs them xXx0 -
Can I join please? I've joined various other challenges but I'm essentially already doing the sealed pot challenge anyway so I might as well make it official.
Of course you can join us, Lolly88 (Please see your No below). A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving, posting and enjoying the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on the 2nd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 5th Nov.
Lolly88 - please note that instead of giving you the following No on the list I've given you No 61 I'm sure that member would have returned by now, and if she does, I'll give her a new one.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
Frugal of not, ETO, it's the meal that counts and the one who's Birthday it is, so you thoroughly enjoy yourself. A shame your hubby will be away, but you'll have your little treasure there with you - us here too!All the best in potting that £10er too!
Good for you, Mrs Cheshire, and good luck in not needing much later, but in having lots of change!! :jFrogletina wrote: »Every New Year's Eve, as I previously mentioned, I always finalise my end of year accounts and I have an excess of income over expenditure which I have now potted.
It is £382.08 which is an amazing amount but had I been doing the 2014 sealed pot challenge most of it would have been included in that. I hope it is ok to include this in the 2015 challenge.
Of course it's all right to include it, Frogletina, I'm only too glad to say a huge YES to you!!!!! One way or the other..you saved it and anything like that you're most welcome to pot, that's why I always recommend everyone budgets well so there's more to save!Best wishes for next year, and even if there isn't so much, or any, to pot at least it gives you the incentive!
8-of-us wrote:Still anything is better than nothing so I'll keep depositing what I can.
You're right with the sentence above, 8-of-us! Would it be any good telling DH what you're doing with the SPC and suggesting you put aside some change each week "to help with Christmas/holiday etc"? Whatever you save, be proud of. :grinheartdreamingofmoney wrote:A wee 15p goes into my pot today. Am loving my new potting ways and am really looking forward to opening the pot, a big thank you to all who are posting you are keeping the thread fun, interesting and welcoming to all us newbies and helping us on our potting ways.

Just to highlight Dreamer's words to all SPCers: The highlighted post above shows the importance of regularly posting about our savings on SPC, it not only encourages us individually, it also encourages us ALL to go all out and do the very best we can! Budgeting to, as spoken about by and to Frogletina above, helps us even more to be able to save! Keep posting everyone, you never know what you might help others to achieve that they might not otherwise have been able to! :j
GREAT potting, Donna!!!
Hi fingersxed, and a very Happy New Year to you too!
Try not to worry about the undercharged bit, Lynsey, it's best of in your pot.
DH & I saw the almost full moon last night, Observer, gorgeous, but can't see owt tonight.Good for you on the CP change...just a shame about the CP charge.
Happy New Year to you as well, mumof3plusoh, do stick to that resolution...you CAN do it!!! A great idea about the group get-together, all the very best in shifting the weight - again - you CAN do it!!!:j
I'm pleased you got the bike sorted, chickadee, and enjoyed your ride, as well as potting the £10er!!!! :Tbossymoo wrote:OMG I'm sure I've already done it at the end of November but yes I'll go do it again. I bet I've put it on the wrong thread
Sorry bossymoo many apologies, I thought in your previous post you were saying you had still to count and declare your savings. It's ok, I've got you on the list as having paid your £650, so a complete misunderstanding and I should have checked earlier. Not to worry, we've sorted it out now. All the best with a lovely amount again in November 5th!As if you didn't know.
Excellent news, Helen! Very well done! :j
BTW everyone - has anyone seen the latest Grand Total??!! It's on my siggy as you'd expect and was bumped up this morning by Queenriderbrekke!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:jHave a great Sunday, Potters!!!
