I've decided that on every Sunday any coins left in my purse will go in the pot. Today I had at least around £10 in loose change that i deposited. I got such a rush hearing the coins clunk in the tin. I can't wait to see how much I will have by the end.

  • Evening all.

Back to reality tomorrow for me and Tuesday for dh and my 2 boys, so can see me having a few more pennies to pot. Managed to scrape a few coppers together today,

Boohoo to all going back to the real world tomorrow.

Well done and you will do very well with that kind of attitude. :T

I'm very impressed also with last years total going over £60k. It's a great achievement, but I know we can more than smash that this year. We have lots more new potters and I get that vibe that we are saving harder.

    Potted 3 x £1 coins today.

Of course you can join us, JoJoC (Please see your No below). A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving, posting and enjoying the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on the 2nd postof page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 5th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

JoJoC - please note that instead of giving you the following No on the list I've given you No 63 I'm sure that member would have returned by now, and if she does, I'll give her a new one. ;) Re PMing me a reply, it probably is because of your phone; when you're at a laptop or PC you're most welcome to try again with a "test" reply. I know people can have problems in PMing others, but that's because the would-be recipients choose not to receive PMs. Try the test to see.

Well, that's it, folks, all the decorations are down, lovely to see them go up, but then it reaches the point that it's equally good to see them down. So lovely to go through the house hoovering and polishing and have things back to normal! Take care all and for those who are poorly, get well soon!

Never mind about forgetting how much you counted, b_e_g, the main thing is that you potted it!!!

Went out for a birthday meal for family, currently doing Slimming World so I decided instead of having a dessert I would pot the money I would have spent on it £4 potted :-) that felt better

That's the way to save, tizzi...and the tin can cope with the calories where as it's not so easily digested for us!!
Sue - What a brilliant total for SP7. A big well done to everyone who saved. It is amazing what we can achieve.

Isn't it absolutely marvellous, Kerry!! As soon as Queenriderbrekke came on with her savings yesterday my heart skipped like mad. I remember one member saying a little while ago "wouldn't it be great next year if we could get £60,000" and since we got to £57,000 I just hoped the rest of the members could soon bolster it to that amount - and we've all made it happen!!!!!!! I can't tell you how elated I am!!!!

You do it whichever way is best for you, tatabubbly, so long as you keep potting them it really doesn't matter!!

Incredible is the word, Vicky, bally incredible!!!!!
I have caught the lurgy from the GC so am feeling rubbish this morning...heavy head, sore throat, blocked nose, headache etc Booger :(

Such a shame, little_sweetie, and I do hope you're soon able to shake it off, inevitable with youngsters though, bless em. What a blessing from that lazy booger!!

A good idea to do the meal planning, chickadee, I hope you're happy with it as it certainly saves waste!

An excellent way of potting, Lolly88, and should net you quite a bit by November! You're doing it perfectly!

I'll go along with that, Lynsey, your hoped for GT of £100,000 could be reached, it's up to us all!!!

Have a great Sunday evening, Potters,a good Monday too!!

I'm not keeping a real list of what is in because I want it to be surprise.

Another £1 potted - change after I'd bought a programme and donated some money at the rugby. I now have £6 in my purse for the rest of the week of "misc" spending. I have no planned spends for the forthcoming week, so all being well I can pot the majority of it come Friday. Fingers crossed!
