Very well done all last year's potters - I've just seen the total which is amazing! SueUU - you should feel really proud. I know everyone would save but you're the focus of over 60ks worth of savings, well done and thank you xx

So back at work today and the potting will start again - I've had a load of NSDs and no change in the purse to feed hungry Monsieur Pot - he'll be happy when I get home tonight as I have some bits for him.

Lolly88 - great idea to bank money in purse on a Sunday. I do my virtual pot transfer then as well so it should be a few quid banked/saved every week - hurrah!

Happy back to work day and happy potting all :T

Hi everyone, will you have me back please? I can't believe how long I've been gone and how many pages you're up to. Will have to try and catch up on all your news.

I've been potting regularly but did really well yesterday with £5.01 roadkill and £7.50 saved through using nect@r points. So £12.51 potted yesterday and 1p roadkill potted today.

I hope you all had a good Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

    Hugs to all.

finally got the money out that I owed the pot frm having no cleaner over the crimbo period, so 5 x £2 coins in the £2 coin tin. Am very cross as yet again! I seem to have mislaid money  this time its the euro's left over from our holiday last year. Can't remember how much there was, but they were in my 'holiday purse' and while clearing up today, DS handed it to me to put away and I look inside and its empty other than a few coins :(
So now i'm like 'did I give them to DS when he went away with school? did I put them away somewhere safe like the swiss francs?? or have I had a second sticky fingered friend in my house???' (positive its not my original sticky fingered friend. It's going to bug me now as i've looked in all the obvious places I would put money (but as I found the swiss francs in a kitchen drawer that really isn't saying alot :()

It's our pleasure to have you in our fold, laura1610! You've made a wonderful start on your saving so, very well done! ;)

Good for you in potting some of your Birthday money, ETO, very wise indeed!! :T

Think it will have to go into my holding pot until pay day just incase I need it but hopefully I won't.

Another wise saver, Iolanthe, the best place for cash you're unsure of. :D

I have decided to put what I saved from NSD's working in my saving pots, I normally buy a bottle of coke at £1 and junk food at a £1 so over the two day £4 saved so it's going into my pot and usually I stupidly have to pay 60p each time to use my card so I have potted £5.20

Crikey 3 extremely wise savers in a row!! A fantastic idea, the.new.me!!!! You will really benefit a LOT from that...rather than giving it to others!! :j

Good saving, pennypinchingpenguin, you're getting the hang of it all very well!!! :D

All the best to your poor Niece, Hope, I hope she's soon able to be home, but at least the homework will help for now. :A

Good for you in potting the price difference, Frogletina, it makes a huge difference over a year. ;)

Thank you so much for your lovely words, Nix, I understand what you mean and am grateful. It's had another 400 + added today so we've now gone up to £61 thousand plus as you'll see below!!!!!! :T

It's soooo good to have you back at last, Modesty! As if we wouldn't have you back.....never!!! :naughty: A very safe, healthy and Happy New Year to you and all the family!

Go with either of the first 2 thoughts, jakes-mum, "did I give them to DS when he went away with school? Did I put them away somewhere safe like the Swiss francs?" From now on be extremely careful with all your cash and put it all somewhere safe as you may not have any sticky fingers in the house at all, and it would be awful to think it was X Y or Z if it really was all down to memory!! :(

Back to the Dr again, at last (getting the appointment)! A 2nd dose of antibiotics as I still have the chest infection, and more steroids because of the asthma, but this time I have to wean myself off of the latter as the dose was 6 per day then down to 0 and she says it was too much too quick and I'd be inclined to agree with that. I shall be so pleased to be free of it and not to have such a wicked wheeze and rattle!! £6.73 in the pot after DH popped in the shop on the way back.

Enjoy your evening, SPCers, and have a lovely Tuesday!!

    Sue x

WOW!! What an amazing amount you all saved last year :T:T
sue I hope you feel better soon. DH has had 2 courses of antibiotics and he still has the cough and sore throat. Having asthma doesn't help him either :(
On a better note £2.68 potted for me today :)
Hope everyone had a good Monday :)
