Hi everyone!
Hope you all had a good festive period. I got a brand new money tin for Christmas (with minions on it!!!) and OH and I have got a whole new motivation about money saving and potting now. At the moment I think I have around £13 in my pot, which isn't too bad considering how often I use my card. I'm going to start transferring the odd pennies (& pounds!) in my bank at the end of the month into my little savings account and then withdraw and add to the pot! I don't tend to use cash often so this might be a good way to maximise my earnings!.Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Afternoon everyone, I hope all's well with you all. A lovely day for the washing to billow in the wind and sun, ideal, I thought I'd best catch up on it all to save using the tumble drier towards the end of the week when the weather will be less predictable. Stay safe healthy, folks, but for those who aren't, get well soon and here are some {{{hugs}}} for you all.A very Happy Birthday to you, ETO!!! :bdaycake:
I hope you have a lovely day despite hubby not being there with you.Late to the party but my large jar is on my desk and set up.
It will *not* be broken into!
Are you asking to join us, Nicki_Sue?? It sounds as though you possibly are, but I'd just like to make certain please.I hope you've all had a great New Years and holidays though .
I've been potting pennies, like a squirrel gets its nuts:rotfl:
. See Sue, I've been good for a change...:p
. I've got to get back into the swing, of money saving properly this year, I slipped last year and regret it :A
:A .
It's good to hear you're determined to do better this year, nu1isit?. So, always keep up with the Squirrel and his nuts then!Happy New Year to you and the family, have a really good one.
scotmumof3 wrote:sue I hope you feel better soon. DH has had 2 courses of antibiotics and he still has the cough and sore throat. Having asthma doesn't help him either
Thank you kindly, scotmumof3, it's been a horrible time, your DH would know that too, though unlike him my throat's ok, just the chest infection and asthma that's mucking things up as he'd know too with the latter. I hope he's soon very much better, me too!Good savings too!
A good idea with leaving your purse behind, dreamingofmoney, saving ££s for the pot and Lbs from you! :jNobodysChild wrote: »Went to go for a drink today but they took so long to serve that we got bored, so we went home. The drink (and a cake with it,) would have cost us six pounds, so I potted that!
Aha...so you know what to do in the future, NobodysChild, keep your cash to pot, you'll be mighty glad you did come November!!
Well done, Donna, keep checking places as you never know what you might find.
No point looking back at all, the.new.me, the new you has taken over now so stay looking ahead! Just seen your latest post, brilliant potting with the quidco cash!! :T
It's ok, Rosy, I didn't think it was that long since you were on, but it's always good to see folks, you included of course! :A Well done on your 1p, better than nowt.
Thanks for popping your No on, JoJoC!
Would all other new members make sure you put your numbers on your signatures please? If you need a hand, just holler.
Well done with the saving, Helen. I know it's always good to have ops over in the one day where possible, but you'll be in the best place and it won't take too much longer. Keep chirpy!
Ah..there you are, findingmyfeet, good to see you dropping in - and to know you're still potting!milky1991 wrote:Merry new year everyone

A very Happy New Year to you too, milky! Just an idea, but why not save your cash for another pot and instead find something to use as a "holding pot" (see the 1st post of Page 1) and carry on using your sealed pot for putting definite savings in?!
That's a lovely sum of cash saved, 32b3, you're forgiven for posting late.
An excellent idea, lulu 92, anything that helps you to save HAS to be good!!!! A very Happy New Year to you also!
That turned out perfect for you, chickadee, all you need now are MORE beginners to join!! :rotfl:Enjoy your evening, SPCers, and have a lovely Tuesday!!
