Go with either of the first 2 thoughts, jakes-mum, "did I give them to DS when he went away with school? Did I put them away somewhere safe like the Swiss francs?" From now on be extremely careful with all your cash and put it all somewhere safe as you may not have any sticky fingers in the house at all, and it would be awful to think it was X Y or Z if it really was all down to memory!!
The sealed pot money was definitely stolen as the culprit has already admitted it, the euros, im hoping ive filed somewhere safe as im sure I had about 60 - 70 euros and DS said I gave him 10 euros for the euro tunnel services so im definitely 50 - 60 euros missing . . . am beginning to wonder if I gave them too my mum as I gave her the swiss francs when I found them so I wouldn't lose them again. . . unfortunately her memory is as bad as mine as she wont remember the francs let alone anything else I gave her for safe keeping :rotfl:
jakes-mum I hope the money turns up soon like the francs. Could you ask DH to remind you where you put things iyswim? I have a memory like a sieve and have to write everything down and still forget
Ahh ty rosyq, I do try to tell him about these things, unfortunately I usually have these great 'hiding place' ideas when im on my own and they are so darned good even I can't find them :rotfl:
Had a lovely lunch out with DH at the beefeater as they had sent me a half price voucher to use this week and I had a £5 off voucher from the rewards card, so meal and drinks cost £10.33 :j ended up leaving all the change in my purse as well as a bit of a tip as it really was a yummy meal and I didn't have to cook it!
Sold one of DD's tshirts that she refused to wear today, so a lovely £2 coin in the tin as wellSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Thanks for the welcome. My initial target will be £100 and my starting strategy is pot all coins below 50p!

Looks like a day of busy potting here today!
I popped £2.16 in my pot today from change after I bought bread and milk. I was going to pop the 16p in and keep the £2 but realised I shouldn't need anything now until Sunday so I'd just pop it all in.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))
