Hey Sue-UU it looks like you have given Mandaguin two numbers. Maybe he/she has two pots? ;)

Jus wanted to pop in to say that I have just saved £41.16 on my home contents insurance renewal, without changing company or reducing the cover at all! I did a search to find out what the competition were going to offer and I rang up my current provider. Even without quoting the other prices I was offered M&S vouchers or wine vouchers. I asked if the premium could just be reduced and he said yes straight away. Result!

Will add something to the pot to recognise my saving. :T

No chickadee, just me messing things by C&Ping a paragraph - but forgetting to change the names! :o

Thanks a lot for bringing my attention to it, and thank goodness I popped by on to do a PM!!!

Well done on such a great saving with your home contents insurance renewal, just goes to show where you can get simply by asking, brilliant!!! :T

    Evening All....

Well I'm feeling very very very rubbish again....Physically AND Emotionally....but with the Emotional stuff I'm trying to rationalise it because I know it's only my health that is causing me to feel this way...I know it's not real....so I'm trying to rationalise it and stay positive....as much as I can...

Just wanted to Pop on and say that I haven't disappeared..nor have I gone anywhere near my Pot (except to put money in) and I haven't spent on my Credit Cards either...in fact I'm desperately trying to pay them off!!

I also wanted to say...because I don't know where else to put it....that I spent the whole Year last Year (2014) putting my Roadkill in a separate Pot...I wanted to see how much I could find in a whole Year....and I've found that I managed to find £3.42....lots and lots of coppers....and some silver and even a couple of gold...so I'm quite pleased with that given that it's free money!! :D So, some of it I put towards a future Holiday, so that has gone in a separate place...but I put a chunk of it in my Sealed Pot...

I've also potted about a pound and some change today....

I think I'm going to get some sleep soon....and hopefully I'll wake up in a MUCH better mood!! :D

    Hello all,

I think that this is my first post of the year so I would like to wisk you all a very happy and healthy new year with the wish that we will all be hearing lots of clunking sounds for our pots! :)

I had a fabulous Christmas I was very happy to receive a mini tin which I am now going to use as my holding pot (here's a pic) -

On potting news I have £3.78 to pot and on my walk I found my first piece of 5p roadkill - I was so happy I did a little dance!

I hope that you are all well and sending lots of safe and squishy hugs to all who accept

  • Forgot to put my total in for last year within 2 weeks again, I've put it on my signature but have not found the thread to declare it. Sorry, I have got to be the most useless member of going xxx

Last years roadkill for me was £19.05 which included £5 found in a hedge at Tesco after a windy day, £10 on a non windy day in my garden lying on my doorstep (Nobody in the family had lost it) and a £2 coin found on the floor with chewing gum stuck to it, presumably somebody wanted to know how scummy someone would have to be to pick it up? I juust wanted to know how rich you would have to be to stick gum to a £2 coin and throw it on the floor x
