I am doing so rubbish this month!

Unless a miracle happens, I don't think I'll be able to clear more than my regular loan DD.

Miracles = hard work and persistence, though, right?

I really like that! Thanks for posting it, I was feeling a bit glum and it's just what I needed. On with the hard work and persistence!

    Ninth Anniversary
Hi savers! I got lost after January, just focusing on other things. I'm way behind on my savings goals, but will have a chance to catch up once I start working full time (which hopefully will be this summer).

Right-O. So far this year I've saved:
    £70.54 from dividends
    £964.54 in January
    £418.05 in February
    £148.35 in March
    £672.13 in April

The April number could change, but I've re-jigged our budget system so that savings are taken out at the beginning of the month, and if we're left with any money at the end of the month that gets put aside for spending another month (so not what I count as saving).

The total is £2273.61/£12000 for the year. Will work on the persistence!

    Anxiously awaiting my bonus figure!

I'll definitely be saving £1k this month, before bonus, so hopefully I can double that once I know what I'll be receiving :)

So I'm a bit late updating but my March total ended up being £1277.04! Not bad overall I dont think.

Just got to keep chipping away at it!

April wont be as good as I've got a few things to pay out!
But it all adds up and will hopefully hit the £12k by the end of the year!

    Good luck to everyone!

    Great saying by Wishus too:

  • Declaring £668 for March (I end up being out of kilter as it's "How much did I save from my March pay check" :)).

£1643 saved so far this year so am about £200 below forecast but still on track to hit my target.
