Update form submitted- I saved £100 in March. I spent a lot of money moving house last month but now with my new home I will be able to save each month £100 on rent and £84 on transport when I use the bus to work. My goal in April is to save £1000 so that I can catch up and have hope of reaching my end of year £12k target.Save 12k in 2015 Challenger #63 £10,100/£12,000 (84%)0

Not just your broker, all financial institutions in the UK.
I wasn't aware of that either so will note that for next year. The stocks and shares isa I opened Tuesday though was my first as in previous years I have just invested in cash isas. Just filled out a "Bed and ISA" form to transfer my unwrapped investment into my new isa. I do like tidy savings.
On a tidy note is anyone else as anal as me in noting down passwords, pin numbers, account numbers etc etc? My husband is not at all money savvy so I have told him if anything happens to me (like I get run over by a bus or something :rotfl:) all the details of the various savings accounts, current accounts and investments are in a folder with all the details in our safe. Otherwise I don't think he would know where to start finding it all!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Enthusiasticsaver, I'm a bit like that, but I may have gone a little further! Although not including passwords, I've written a letter to our son in Melbourne (to be shared with my husband of course) and have lodged the letter with a trusted colleague. Have also told son and trusted family friend the locations of our wills and in the letter some of my wishes as to my jewellery have been added.
I am a very lucky lady. My family/in-laws are all very good and stick together when a loss occurs and there is no bickering. Top people.“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

Mixed month so far; cars MOT and Service came to just over £800 + almost £200 for tickets plus hotel for the Lion King next month ; has certainly hit my savings a bit.
I've got a cashback payment of £150 now overdue; sent an email yesterday querying the delay; they replied basically saying that there is a delay as the promotion was a lot popular than expected.
On the plus side I got a late bonus from work today of about £360 which was unexpected which should hopefully mean I'll be able to break even this month; which is certainly better than posting a negative.
Writing off April already; just keeping an eye on my CC for this month and hopefully will have a lot better May.# 047 'Save 12K in 2019' - £6,346.86 / £12,000 55.89%# 074 'Save 12K in 2015' - £4,379.25 / £4,000 109.48%0 -

Late March update!!
March was very expensive for me (for several reasons), so I'm declaring -£238 for the month, which makes my year to date total £248 and my overall total £85,087.
I've been stuck around £85,000 for several months now, and feeling a bit despondent as I've had so many expenses lately. I sometimes wonder if I'll even make it to £90,000 by the end of the year! But let's be positive
Also, I've seen a house that I love (and could comfortably afford), but it's close to being sale agreed.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
