Ah ok thanks. I'd seen we might be having some snow on Tue but hadn't spotted today.

Can you imagine snow in this wind!

Just a 2 minute snow flurry! The wind dropped a little but seems to be picking up again.

My children are desperate for it to snow down here. Would be nice to get a few flakes but we never get the sort of snow you are used to!

No snow here. I was awake at about 2 this morning and it poured with rain. It's sunny and bright here now.

I cannot believe how prepped I am for cold weather and it's been so mild.:D

  • keeps snowing and then melting as fast as it arrives here, last week we had a few power cuts, one day it was off for 13 hours so we lit the fire for the first time in year and by the time it came back on we had hot water and a warm house so we were able to get lovely hot baths before bedtime :) We are well stocked up food wise so not too worried if it happens again, could do with some more coal though

We finally have a credible snow warning down here (Berkshire).

If we are lucky, we will get a bit of a dumping overnight :j

Tesc0 shopping is arriving this afternoon and gas card is well topped up and I have some coal, kindling and logs so,,, bring it on!!!

3 degrees here and it has been snowing on and off but melting straight away.

We've been told there will probably be some overnight above 100m. I used Google Earth to find out how high we are and we're 221m!

Have brought another load of logs in and will do all jobs that need electricity next! (Washing, hoovering and heat a tank of hot water).

I've moved a bit further south, but I know you weren't far from where I used to live! The rain earlier did have lumps in it... I might just go and bring in some more logs and kindling before it gets dark though!
