I usually shop on Saturday morning. I did a meal plan for next week last night. After seeing the forecast today I called in at the supermarket.after work. I didn't have my list but got a few bits in. I was pleased to see, when I checked my list, that I had only bought items on it and most of next week is now covered. That's us sorted if I can't get the car out.
Looking forward to a nice warm bath and a hot chocolate. It's freezing outside.
Stay safe and warm.

Snow isn't actually forecast here, but the wind is absolutely biting cold.
Decided to do a food shop after work too, at 6pm, the shop I go to is very close to the sea.
Loading the car-with my gloves on (and other clothes-by the way!!!) I still thought the tips of my finders would drop off-they were numb.
Anyway all put away now, so I don't have to food shop for a week-but still have 2 days left in work.
Take care everyone.
A part of me wants to be at home with a blizzard outside too!!
As the air is salty it doesn't happen often.

We have some snow here tonight. It was blowing a blizzard earlier and I was glad we were all safely home from work. I'm hoping that there won't be too much overnight as we have to go out in the morning. It's been freezing cold for what seems like months now, but DD loves to see the snow, and made a snowman last week when we had a small amount of snow. I just wish it was warmer...(what do snowmen do in Summer?)2025 Fashion on the ration

Blowing a blizzard in West Yorkshire at the moment but schools/colleges open for my lot, although some are closed for the day.
Stay safe.

Heavy snow overnight and the RV is out with the neighbours playing with his snow scraper. I'm sat at the fire drinking tea lol0

We've been forecast snow, then rain, then sleet, then snow so I give up! :rotfl: Where we live is wet and icky, my DD has just text to say that at school (2 miles up the road) its snowing!
Either way I'd like someone to hit pause and stop it 5pm until 9pm tonight as I have work out making deliveries to customers at 6pm until 9pm and I don't have a suitable coat to wear so its a jumper and hoody for me
I was frozen last night just being out for 30min!

Nicki you need warm good clothes for this weather, it's to stay baltic until the middle of next week. You'll end up with pneumonia!
We've just noticed that the plough driver has cleared the road into the village, and then piled the cleared snow up in a barricade right across the road into the houses. Argggh lol0 -
Heavy snow here on the edge of the Peak District. Some schools are open but the majority do seem to be shut. I had to walk down to town this morning. I was dressed in an ancient ankle length overcoat, DDs old fur hat, walking boots, rucksack and yak-traks-so was warm and dry.Cars are slithering all over the place. Most people are dressed sensibly but I did see one woman walking into Tesco in sandals!
We are well stocked up-have been for weeks-but I bought a bag of potatoes while I was out just in case.0
