Happy belated Birthday!
Well done on the phone sale. How annoying about OH's parents though.

Afternoon
We went to OH's parents yesterday and left at stupid-o-clock in the morning. They did pay for lunch because OH basically went there to set up their soundbar, so that was good.
What was bad though is that OH took the money that was put aside for that (£40) and another £20 and went out last night . I'm really annoyed and he can't understand why. He sees that the money's there, so why not spend it. Now the money in the account is allocated for bills, so we've got nothing until Wednesday when my DLA goes in, but then £35 of that will be taken straight away for the diesel I put in yesterday.
Anyway, I've got lots of overtime this coming week and some next week. Amounts to £92.50 for May already.
Need to try and watch my health too though. Friday night I started coughing up some blood (definitely from my lungs). Not a nice thing, but common with CF and ageing.

Thanks everyone - OH still in the doghouse, and he knows it!!
3 days to go until payday - can't come soon enough!! One debt will be cleared on Friday. I had a payday loan ages ago (3-4 years ago). The original outstanding balance was £225.89, but it got sold on to another company and they cut it down to £103.50. I then got an email offering 35% off if I pay it in full, so that brings it down to around £67.28. The deadline for that offer happens to be on payday, so I'm taking that as a sign I should clear that debt.
I'll also be taking a chunk off both sets of council tax arrears and some other bill arrears. Trying to get myself sorted, slowly but surely.

You're doing really well,Emz:T. You have a lot more financial acumen than your fiance:eek:. (the horrified blue smiley refers to him not you by the way:rotfl:)
Nice to see Andy win on clay yesterday, a good omen for the French Open:j

Thanks CBC
The scores on the payday doors are in, and I'll be getting £719.85 this month, which is really good considering there was hardly any overtime. I didn't realise we get time and a half for bank holidays, so that was an extra £27.
Also withdrawn £5.10 from Geo Lotto this morning. I need to start making more regular payments to one of my debts. I might go with the water bill arrears, as that's relatively small (will get the figure later, but no more than £250) and easy to make smaller payments.
