What a lucky little girl! Good luck with getting the last bit of money together:beer:0 -
Managed to get £5 from OW, so have ordered the Lego set and the card. So only £15 to go now before I can get the Barbie doll and then on to saving for the laptop battery.

Hello
Went into work on Wednesday evening and had a funny turn. I was serving a customer and my vision started going funny and there was ringing in my ears. Came very close to passing out. It passed after 10 minutes or so (and some worried managers rushing to take care of me) but wasn't pleasant. No idea why it happened, but I'll mention it to the hospital when I go a week today.
As a result, I spent some money on a couple of ready meals for Weds night and last night as I wasn't feeling like cooking. I've still done fairly well with spending this past week. OH is due back today.
I went out for a meal with my friend today, which she treated me to. Also got my card and present for tomorrow, which I suspect is a box of chocs.
We're going out for a meal tomorrow as a family and then I'm going to TGIs on Sunday evening with the girls from work - so I'll be well fed over this weekend. Want to go and see the new Avengers movie too, but not sure when we'll have time, as I'm working Sun-Tues.

Rubbish night's sleep
- think my lungs object to turning 34.
Early card opening has revealed £40 so far.
OH's parents are coming here today, but not staying overnight. I've no idea why. They haven't bothered before.

Sorry you had a bad night's sleep, Emz. I really hope you'll be feeling well enough soon to enjoy the lovely weekend that lies ahead:beer:. Well, lovely that is apart from OH's parents' coming:eek:. Look on the bright side though, they may be making all that effort just to bring you a birthday present that is too big/heavy to post:A
Please forgive me Emz for forgetting which day your birthday is (today/tomorrow):o. Whichever it is I send you every good wish for a happy and healthy 34th year:bdaycake:0 -

Thanks CBC :A - it's my birthday today.
Basically waiting for OH and his parents to make an appearance at the moment - getting more annoyed by the second and if they aren't here by 10am, I'll be going out. Didn't take the day off work so I could just sit in the house on my own.

Well, I waited until just gone 11am until OH and his parents turned up - not happy. OH's parents paid for the meal, but I didn't get a present or card - although they had the money to buy themselves a £150 soundbar for their TV whilst they were here.
OH got me two lots of perfume and took me to see the new Avengers movie last night.
From my mum and sister I got some clothes (jeans, skirt and cardigan), necklace and my sister had already paid for my Wimbledon ticket.
I also ended up with £70 cash, which I've already spent. I got a brand new iPhone 5c in blue for £145 from Gumtree last night. Not bad considering they're £269 on Amazon.
It's so good to have an iPhone back - I didn't realise just how much I missed it. I want to try and claw back the extra £75 I had to put towards it though. I'll start by listing my other phone on Gumtree. Should get £30-£40 for it.
Working 11-5 today and then going for a meal tonight.
