I just find them so mind blowingly boring & it seems to take forever to get anywhere.
I agree 100%, beanielou:T. I'm so skint though that in a toss up between the pittance they pay and being bored I have to bite the bullet and slog away at them:o. Every little helps, as they say.0 -

My sister visited this morning with the kids so they could see the degus. I'm now doing a pie and chips for OH and me. OH wanted to go to Harvester with the kids, but I said no as we're seriously low on funds until payday. We've had the pie in the freezer for a couple of weeks, so that's a much cheaper option.
I've got a gammon joint in there that I can do for tomorrow's lunch. I'm trying to use stuff up in the freezer and when we get paid, I'll do a big shop and fill it up again. Then I'll try and meal plan so that OH isn't tempted to go out for meals/takeaways. I've got quite a lot of will power where that's concerned, but he's terrible. I'm not one for cooking from scratch, so it's frozen food all the way
