Meal came to £65. OH and I paid and his parents are supposed to be giving us £32.50 in cash. Bit annoyed seeing as my meal was free, so OH and I only spent around £20-£25 of that.

Anyway, MSE highlights of the day:
    • Redeemed for £3 Amazon voucher on Swagbucks, which I'll put towards the £18 I owe my sister.
    • Fought hard to get a free meal at F&B's (apparently, you can only use the voucher on your birthday, but I argued that it didn't mention anything about that in the T&Cs and got away with it).
Hoping to have a bigger list tomorrow, seeing as I'll actually have some time to do stuff when his parents go back home.

ETA - Got £35 off his parents.

 My house is empty

    MSE highlights of the day:
    • I bought a loom band pack that was £12.99 in Argos (and is still over £8 on Amazon) for 99p!! My niece was pretty chuffed with it
    • Drove slowly on the motorway to and from my mum's to save fuel
    • Got some leftover chicken from my mum for my sandwich tomorrow
    • Shock horror - I'm actually getting used to my cheap a$$ phone!! There are some features I like, and I'm considering keeping it and getting a pay-as-you-go sim card from Giff Gaff. That will save me around £30 a month

  • All good, Emz:T

Saving on the phone is a great idea for the time being. £30 is a lot to save each month, at least until your holiday is over.

    Have a good week:beer:

Thanks CBC :) - I've ordered a Giff Gaff sim card, so will start using that when it arrives.

Bit annoyed with myself. I did some surveys on My Survey and was able to redeem. I saw 500 Nectar points on there and thought that would be good to have. It was only after I redeemed them that I remembered 500 points is only £2.50 :wall: - I should have redeemed for a £5 Amazon voucher instead. Lesson learned!!

    MSE highlights of the day:
    • Will have £2.50 on my Nectar card soon (trying to look on the bright side!!).
    • Dissuaded OH from going out for a meal tonight
    • Worked 2-8
    • Ordered a Giff Gaff sim card

Been doing some surveys whilst doing my nebuliser. I've claimed £10 from one site, which I've sent to my sister, so only owe her £8 now.

I've also completed a couple of surveys about finances and I will apparently receive a £20 Amazon voucher for them. Here's hoping!!

    Morning

Survey time again whilst doing my nebuliser, and have just claimed a £2.50 Amazon voucher. I've sent it to my sister, so only £5.50 to go.
