Yorkshire & Clydesdale Banks offering £150 for switching

I've applied in branch about 10 days ago and now have:
my debit card, internet/mobile banking setup and now received a device apparently needed for sending Faster Payments over £300 online which looks like the HSBC / M&S Bank secure key device.
All reasonably smooth so far and logged into my old bank this evening for a message saying that 'I'm switching out'...This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I have just fleeced the Coop for £100 which was paid yesterday.
If I move to Yorkshire Bank now would Coop take back the £100 as it was only paid yesterday.
Anyone know of a minimum term? Can't see any but thought I'd check here in case anyone knows0 -

Can I do the switch, and for example, pay in £100 and withdraw it, ten times over, to get the bouns, or does it have to be in one transaction and stay in there to claim the bonusleeroy2009 wrote: »...

Thats from the YB one, CB say
Both the same now, have been for about a week, I was also informed verbally that if you have over £1000.00 in the switching account this counts for the £1000.00 deposit for the incentive, although that I cannot find in print, but it does say,"Balance transfers from your old account as part of the switch and internal transfers from any other Clydesdale Bank or Yorkshire Bank accounts are not included. (Either in your sole name or jointly with someone else.)"

'(i) this does not include any balance transferred as part of your full switch;'
While applying to Yorkshire they explained the T&Cs had changed within the previous 24 hours (~10 days ago) so that the £1000 does include balance transferred over, and I'm relatively sure they said it could be comprised of multiple smaller payments totaling £1000. I'll have a look at the hard copy they sent me when I get home to see if they state that. I know this has been discussed here previously so the T&Cs look simply out of date.
If so the £100 in and out 10 times would work, though would be a bit of a ballache. Faster payments would likely be easier.0 -
Have a Yorkshire sort code (05=00=22) and account number, need to send off one more form.0

I guess everyone who applied over the phone will get the 05-00-22 code - seems to be a centralised code for distance/direct accounts.43580

Anyone tried opening up another account e.g Clydesdale after opening Yorkshire account? What was their response? Was it straightforward as 1st account
Opened up Yorkshire CA Direct will be ringing up tomorrow to apply for Clydesdale Readycash.

Do you mean in regards to getting another incentive, or just in general opening a second account? If the latter, I'd presume it's even more straight forward than the first application.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0
