The lovemoney figures are for the third quarter of 2014, before Clydesdale/Yorkshire started their incentive. First quarter of 2015 will be radically different.

The switch happened today with all DDs transferred as well. Now just waiting for the £150. Only did it to make up for the £165 cashback I lost when Phones4u went bust. Now I've got the bug and just opened a NatWest account in order to switch to one of the other switching offers, I've been lazy sticking with a Nationwide account not earning any interest, so might as well do a few of them over the next few months.

Don't forget you can even "do" Nationwide, via Quidco/TCB and/or the Nationwide RAF scheme.

Hi i spotted that CB and YB were doing this incentive and found this thread. I've had a look through some of it and have a few questions.

    - i see mentions of people making 10 switches therefore 10x150. Is this (still) possible? And how are they allowing this?

    - is there any minimum time duration that i must stay with CB/YB?

    - i' ve seen a lot of debate over when to pay the 1k and whether 2 dd's are necessary. What is the current position with regards to these conditions?

    Thanks.

Answers to all your Qs are in the thread / in the CB/YB terms and conditions.

ruudy - CB/YB do not pay out fot 70 days, so I will maintain the account as they dictate until after I receive the £150.

Thanks for the answers guys. I read some of the big thread but it was 100+ pages long and it seems that YB/CB have occasionally changed things.

They have indeed 'changed things' which is why it is important that you read the current T&C from the bank's website, rather than rely on what you are told by a bunch of strangers on the internet.

No matter how well meaning & well informed they might be. And I do include myself :p
