They have indeed 'changed things' which is why it is important that you read the current T&C from the bank's website, rather than rely on what you are told by a bunch of strangers on the internet.

No matter how well meaning & well informed they might be. And I do include myself :p

Thanks badger. Advice duly Noted.

Still good to see some recent personal experiences mind.

Is it " internal transfer" when you pay in cash money on your account through bank branch counter ? Does it qualified for "T&C funding"?
    Thank you
P.S. Not sure if already answered on my questions , but T&C has changed during offer!

Paying in cash is not a transfer, internal or external;)

My switch incentive was paid on 2nd June.

I opened the account around 20th March, and the first switched direct debit paid out on 1st April, so it's pretty much been paid in the 70 days as advertised. I didn't have to chase them.

Unsurprisingly they did not meet their deadline so I have now been in touch with their Customer Experience & Complaints Team on 0800 055 66 55.

They took my details and said I would be contacted within 48 hours by phone if the relevant department got back to them quickly otherwise I should expect a letter with a reference for my complaint and details within 7 days.

I am now at 68 days post £1,000 being credited and as I signed up under the old terms it should have been no more than 60 days. Before calling I went through and wrote out each of the terms for the offer and how I had met them should they query anything - they didn't they just noted the dates.

How have others who are overdue got on?

I will keep the thread informed on any progress.

by way of an update - I received the letter yesterday, 8 days after I called them. All the letter had was a reference number and said they would be looking to resolve my complaint as soon as possible and laid out the details about taking the complaint further.

There was no actual reference to the complaint itself, i.e. non payment of bonus.

So I decided to call them to chase it up and they got back to me at the end of the day stating that they had been in touch with the branch and could see no reason for why my switch bonuses had not been paid. But they would get back to me today with an update on getting it paid after they spoke to the relevant department.

They have clearly broken the terms of their offer with regards to me, in that they have not paid me within the 60 days stated in the T&C's. What redress if any do I have? Had I broken the terms they wouldn't have paid me but they have broken them but seemingly with no penalty..that can't be fair?

How have the others who are still waiting under the old scheme getting on with chasing their non payments?

I would say that you are entitled to be put in the position you thought you should be in, ie payment of the incentive. If you press them they may, as a gesture, offer you something like £25 if you insist to them that you have had to devote time and effort into sorting it out with them.

Assume you do, have another a/c elsewhere ? Pay cash into that, then transfer to YB/CB

I got my phone call this morning and they said there had been a mix up due to the change in T&C's.

They said that due to there being a period between the old and new T&C where no offer was being paid momentarily for some reason that had caused the mess up.

They had checked and said I was definately entitled to the incentives and they would be paid by close of business tomorrow.

Just checked and they are sitting in my accounts now - so finally all sorted.

Still waiting for my (final) incentive, as is Mrs Anon. Account opened under old terms, money transferred in on 17th March - still no sign of the £150 :(.
