It is 70 days tomorrow since my payment went in (old rules) - two of my accounts received the incentive, the other is still waiting. Same position for Mrs Anon.

Will give it a few more days then phone I suppose.

I guess there's no way of switching more than once in new terms?

Is there anyway they can refuse the £150 under the old terms if my account shuts before they pay it even though i've met the criteria? (It's been nearly 63 days)

I am still waiting on my three under the old rules. I must be one of the very last as I signed and returned the forms on the last day of February which was the last day of the offer.

They have until Saturday then they will be getting an earful from me if they aren't paid - I suspect they aren't going to meet their deadline.

Unsurprisingly they did not meet their deadline so I have now been in touch with their Customer Experience & Complaints Team on 0800 055 66 55.

They took my details and said I would be contacted within 48 hours by phone if the relevant department got back to them quickly otherwise I should expect a letter with a reference for my complaint and details within 7 days.

I am now at 68 days post £1,000 being credited and as I signed up under the old terms it should have been no more than 60 days. Before calling I went through and wrote out each of the terms for the offer and how I had met them should they query anything - they didn't they just noted the dates.

How have others who are overdue got on?

I will keep the thread informed on any progress.

Looking at the terms there is no specific requirement on the account being kept open once the conditions have been met other than they state that they 'will credit the £150 to your account'. Which I guess could be implying you need to keep the account open as otherwise they are unable to pay it into your account.

I wouldn't close it until you have been paid.

You're not alone. I switched under the old T&Cs (which I fulfilled, of course) and have hit 70 days without payment. I've just sent an email to Clydesdale to chase this, and I too will keep the thread updated about my progress.
  • Feel like it was so long ago I signed up for this and not received my £150, did anyone else need to wait ages? When I switched to FD before I felt like I received payment quickly.
I have switched using the switch service, have more than 2 DD's and pay more than £1k in every month so have met all the criteria unless I'm missing something.

If you read back, many people are waiting upwards of 60-70 days for this. Can you expand on "long ago"? Do you know precisely when you switched?

As you will see in my previous posts, I have been waiting 70+ days for the incentive under the old T&Cs. I left a message with Clydesdale yesterday regarding this and had a call today from a very nice Scottish lady who told me that the later switches (eg the switches that overlapped with switches under the newer T&Cs) have encountered some problems but that they were being worked through manually and I would see the incentive paid in over the next few days. It sounds like there's been a !!!! up somewhere, but worry not anyone who is still waiting for their incentive from the old terms, it should be sorted very soon... *fingers crossed*

I have received my debit card and pin and set up internet banking, I have transferred £1,000 and my switching date is 1/6. I will use it as my current account for a few months to see how it goes.

It appears that more people are switching out than in. https://www.lovemoney.com/news/43887/the-banks-and-building-societies-were-all-switching-to
