Being a moderate sort, I only went for £300 and am actually using the Direct as a current account  How quaint :rotfl:

Could almost be my post lol. Only noticed today that there is no way to turn off paper statements - not many banks left like that.

    Hmm,
I too queried where the £150 had got too as I hadn't received it and now 38 days since switch.
CB stated it would not be paid until at least 70 days had passed. So god knows when it will come if ever...

Cheeky Cb also charged me £15 for going overdrawn with a standing order that I had already cancelled. They have refunded it now after a polite conversation.

I would have asked for a Goodwill Gesture for the inconvenience and wasted time caused by them. I would expect about £50 from them for that.

Worth firing off an email to their complaints department.

Have they also agreed in writing to remove/not submit any derogatory information to the credit reference agencies?

It's all well and good getting some cash, but there are/should be more important things to address.

I gather you can have 4 sole current accounts with NW – with as many flexaccounts as you want?

Maybe crossed wires but just incase you think you can have multiple FlexDirect accounts paying 5%:
Opening multiple FlexDirect accounts: Under the terms and conditions of this account customers are only entitled to one promotional credit interest rate of 5% AER. (4.89% gross p.a). The only permitted exception to receive more than one promotional rate is if the additional account is held in joint names.

Any additional FlexDirect accounts held or more than one joint account held by you and another customer will result in the credit interest rate being reduced from 5% (4.89% gross p.a) to 1% gross p.a/AER (variable) within 7 working days of the account being opened.

If you have previously held a FlexDirect account in the last 12 months, you will not be entitled to the introductory rate or offer under a new agreement and therefore you will receive the standard 1% gross p.a/ AER (variable) interest rate.

My one has recently matured/been open for 12 months so it looks like I have to close it and not open another for 12 months - shame as was a good rate.

Hi All, new to forum and switched to YBS on the 1st April from Nationwide, I believe I have met all the criteria. Any idea when I'm to realistically receive my £150?

Don't the new terms state 70 days? So they are perfectly entitled not to pay the £150 for 70 days.

The previous offer had a deadline of 60 days post switch/£1k - and yes they generally paid out after 35 days - but they didn't have to.

Only if you don't get the £150 after day 70 have you a right to complain.

" £150 will be paid into your account within 70 days of your switch completing provided qualifying criteria are met"

70 days from the 1 April is roughly 10 June - so any time before then.
