The new switch offer is online, with changed T&Cs as I expected
"Personal or Private Accounts. Max of one payment per person or joint account. Excludes internal transfers and those who have already qualified for £150 for switching to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank. Subject to status and eligibility. Offer can be withdrawn without notice."

Hi there, to qualify for the £150 do i need to deposit £1000 after the switch is complete, or can the £1000 be transferred across from my old bank account. i have done the latter, just need to check if I need to withdraw it, and deposit again. Thanks,0

As long as your old bank account that is being switched was with another bank, not YB or CB I believe it counts as a deposit for the incentive as long as its £1,000 or more. Check T&C to confirm! If I'm wrong please someone say!
If the balance from the switched account is less than £1,000 that can just be topped up to £1,000 (I think).0 -

As above plus:
Full switch time is now 31 days, (was 21), to complete.
Switch at least 2 DD's and maintain a minimum of 2 active DD's at least until the incentive is paid.
Credit account with at least £1000.00 per month
Incentive paid within 70 days, (was 60), but has been much less.
You can only benefit from this offer once, offer commences 9 March 2015. We may withdraw offer at any time...............
.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Time to start a new thread for the 9th March offer or its going to get very confusing beyond the above posts illustrating its a different offer!?0

Yes based on the posters in branch no one who has received a £150 payment since 17 November (or is due to receive one under the pre 28 Feb offer) is eligible - so that rules out most people on here.0 -

I second THAT!nearlyretired2004 wrote: »This is correct ....however.....
Spoke to an 'advisor' (!!!) who told me about these limits. Explained that wanted to transfer £1000 all to the same account.
SPECIFICALLY asked her whether making four payments (3 X £300 and 1 X £100) one after the other to the same account might trigger a security alert ...... no she said ....will be fine
I'll leave you to guess...... so another lengthy phone call to get payment released......
I fear some of us are definitely having to 'earn' our £150 by chasing about.
Seems like the safest option to move more than 1x£300 without waiting/getting the 'token' thing (or being tripped up altogether like nearlyretired2004) is just to do it using the telephone banking where the limit is £5000, odd so much higher.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
YB own site says the limit for a faster Payment is £15,000.
How one attains the right to use such a facility is in the hands of the Gods or maybe you have to serve an apprenticeship in fiscal prudence to climb up the slippery pole of privilege!:D0 -
Yay it's back!! But oh no about having to switch direct debits now!! I don't have any direct debits in the account I want to switch. So sounds like I need to switch some direct debits to my old account I want to close then switch them again. Ugh!
Just thought I suppose I can create 2 direct debits with some charities so I am helping others too!0 -
Yay it's back!!
