Yorkshire & Clydesdale Banks offering £150 for switching

Thanks for the info. So you reckon I could open multiple YB Ready cash accounts and get a switching bonus each time? Is that right..
P.S. Just received an email from Clydesdale saying that I cannot open an account with Clydesdale if you have one with Yorkshire...
What to do...
If I applied online today, will I definitely qualify for the £150 switching bonus each time I choose multiple Ready Cash Accounts?
Tell that to the posters who have 5 current accounts with each.:D
Maybe they just mean in the one call – as they have different systems?
You need to open a current account – and have a current account(s) to switch from to get the incentive. You won’t get £150 just for opening an account. Readycash is fine – or the plus account. The only difference is with the latter you can get an overdraft facility and chequebook – the former is a basic cash account.0 -
would hate to be working in the call centre coming up to the 28th !
Wonder if it will be extended.............
Not that I am greedy, but I want > 10 and I want em now !......0 -

According to the call centre staff and the Piccadilly branch it is being extended.
According to the Preston branch it is not.
Who can say – personally I would expect the former are more up to speed but maybe its not been decided yet!0 -

I have five accounts with YB. If I rang the CB number and went to open an account/s, do I need to disclose my accounts with YB?"It would be easier to find a packet of sliced hippopotamus in suitcase sauce" - Basil Fawlty0 -

Only if they ask you - always respond truthfully but don't feel the need to volunteer information.
They will probably spot it anyway.
There are advantages to sticking with the one bank however - one login so you can view your accounts in one place and see when they are opened.0 -
I've just opened a donor account today with my main bank. How long do you normally have to wait before you can switch it?0

I suppose it depends if they ask if you have any accounts with Clydesdale and Yorkshire, or just Clydesdale. If the former they may show up on their screen anyway when you start giving your details? Only way to know is phone and find out?0 -
