Yorkshire & Clydesdale Banks offering £150 for switching

Why rush to close it, keep it open for a donor account for the next switching offer
Or you could switch out - and then switch back again into a new account if the CB/YB offer is extended to the end of March as is rumoured but not confirmed. Not sure how they would react to that - but who can say!0 -
I've just been on hold for 50 minutes, in a queue supposedly, only to be cut off at 8pm sharp when the office closes:o
Previously I got through within a minute. I don't think its simply that applications have increased, wonder if their phone system recognises numbers that have called before and applied for the switch and keep putting those numbers to the back of the queue?!:cool:0 -

No - I expect they have kept the lines open for their No 1 customer - Yorkshire Boy - as he is planning to open a further 10 accounts!:D
I expect they are just very busy - as its getting near 28 Feb! Given the week turnaround for forms its getting close to the wire now. They may of course extend - but why not announce it now to reduce the call volumes?0 -

Are you able to open multiple accounts with the same bank? Or is there some little quirk you have to go through?0
