Apologies if this has been asked and answered. I could not find the answer.
When I applied over the phone, the adviser asked about my account that I was going to switch. Is this now set in stone, or can I, when the switching pack arrives, change it to another account that I have available to switch?

They send out blank forms so you can put whatever account you like down.

They have a habit of checking that the account to switch is eligible to be switched.

Thanks. I told them in the call that I was switching my Barclays account, but on reflection I would now prefer to switch a spare Nationwide.

  • Having received my £150, can this account be a donor account for another switch or can we not switch a switched account (if you see what I mean) as redirections credit to original account --Forwarded--> Clydesdale --Forwarded--> New Account could be problematic?

You can switch an account as many times as you like.
Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.

Will use this for the Co-op then, Clydesdale still haven't given me a chequebook despite me asking for one over three weeks ago. Rubbish service, so long and thanks for the £150.

Does anyone know whether someone with a mix of Yorkshire and Clydesdale bank accounts sees all the accounts in one online account, or in a separate online account for each bank?

Could I just check I can send the Yorkshire documents to the freepost address earlier in the thread of RZ+SZJ-KSKS-EJHJ Clydesdale Bank, Symington House, Clydebank or is there a different address for Yorkshire applications.

I've just received the Nationwide debit card so I can now complete the application but they missed out the return envelope and the only address on the letter is a Timor House, Clydebank, address.

They are separate banks and as such have separate log ins, no mix of YB/CB accs on same page.

Claire07 - Keiran has given the correct address. I think you'd better stick a stamp on as there is a bar code on my envelope which I assume is relevant to the freepost bit???
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

No need for a stamp - the freepost licence code is provided.

Just write 'FREEPOST RSGU-XTSX-KKJT' at the top of the address and it'll get there.
