We were worrying over nothing then :rotfl:0 -
Just opened another one over the fone...it's getting more difficult!
So many quick fired questions...What's the account being used for? Where is the money coming in to fund it? How often will it be funded? Etc etc...
Don't know if I should risk one more lol is six the magic number?!0 -

6?! Oh my. I wouldn't bother trying for more, unless you can think of a genuine reason to give them for more, otherwise they won't believe you!Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

I can understand them asking questions about why you need six current accounts – 3 is probably pushing it.
What creative reasons have you given?
PS As we get closer to the deadline of 28 Feb I am just curious to know how they will manage the switch signing deadline given the length of time it can take YB/CB to post out material. What happens if you sign it dated before 28 Feb (a Saturday) – but they don’t get it until after that date. When you sign seems to be the key – although whoever wrote that presumably was thinking most people would apply in branch!

My post was tongue in cheek as five is more than enough, it was posted to encourage and motivate others to switch :A others have done five so I guess it was a challenge...
As for reasons: savings, spending, expenses, mortgage, bills etc etc0 -

They have varied widely in posting out the forms to us. The first account took 2 days but the second a week.mI wouldn't trust them to have the forms sent in time after the 21st but if they did then as long as they're signed by deadline it doesn't matter when they get them back (as long as full switch is also done within 21 days). Bet they will start sending forms out slower now!0 -
Having received my £150, can this account be a donor account for another switch or can we not switch a switched account (if you see what I mean) as redirections credit to original account --Forwarded--> Clydesdale --Forwarded--> New Account could be problematic?0

Apologies if this has been asked and answered. I could not find the answer.
When I applied over the phone, the adviser asked about my account that I was going to switch. Is this now set in stone, or can I, when the switching pack arrives, change it to another account that I have available to switch?"It would be easier to find a packet of sliced hippopotamus in suitcase sauce" - Basil Fawlty0
