Bigoted "friend"

Just delete her and get on with your life.
I've had a few 'friends of friends' or people into the same hobbies as me on FB over the years who start talking crapola or espousing ultra nationalist nonsense thinking most will agree with them, I delete them and slap a status post up 'I'd rather not listen to bigoted !!!!! thanks'

And lumping UKIP and BNP together as awful parties doesn't mean that somebody has no clue about politics and thinks they have the same policies/are particularly similar parties, just that they're both awful parties.

I was just using UKIP/BNP as examples of carppy parties. I wasn't "lumping them together"...although anyone who thinks that UKIP aren't just as bigoted and racist as the BNP are must be living under a rock :rotfl:

I'm not saying that they have the same policies on every issue, but they are both racist and have this "Britain is for the British" (only if you're white) mentality!

Sounds to me like you're rather enjoying the drama and reading all her comments that you class as racist, bigoted, and whatever. You have no intention of deleting her from your friends list; I mean if you did, you couldn't carp and b1tch about her, could you?! As indeed they are- neither have offered up policies on anything except appeasement of bigots at this point. They have not published opinions on many other crucial issues at this point.

Some people have different lives and different experiences to you. They live in different places and have different types of interaction with different cultures. This leads them to form opinions based on what they know, and their opinions usually are with a slant towards doing something to improve the situation for themselves. This is not bigotry. This is common sense.

OP is a bigot for being closed minded to the views of people she brands as 'bigot', immediately slapping them down without consideration of the facts. The dictionary definition of the word shows this.

I expect to get flamed for this, but I guarantee that I am correct, or this thread would not exist, and deleting someone you dislike from your own facebook would be a no brainer - which it is, for people, who do ACTUALLY do not wish to stay in contact with someone they claim to dislike. Not being friends with someone you dislike is not a big descision.
