    Condescending -much ?

    If you think so.

Maybe my post wouldn't have been so condescending if the OP hadn't said UKIP supporters must be from under a rock....

Not that I've ever voted UKIP, but maybe the OP - who has already acknowledged she doesn't know a lot about politics- should do a bit of research before posting.

    wow..such anger

when another person shows a difference of opinion, a well balanced person might respect or debate and moves on. Your approval is not required.

Then there are some like yourself, which feel actually angered that others have different opinions - angry to the point of name calling and attempted patronisation.

This is typical behaviour of someone with low self esteem & anger issues.

You do realise that people only attempt to patronise, when they need to feel better about themselves?

I hope you feel calmer soon

    Right she has been unfollowed!

Just checked my FB and she's at it again, this time sharing a "Britain First" moronic video of Muslims burning poppies.

    What. A. !!!!!!!!

So, it's ok for them to burn poppies?

This is why this country is going to the dogs.

Are you just reading what you want to read? :-/ I did NOT say UKIP supporters must be from under a rock. I said if you didn't realise how racist and bigoted they are you must have been living under a rock.

Geerex, maybe this country is "going to the dogs" because bankers are playing silly with our money, millionaires are getting tax breaks, and large corporations are dodging their fair share of taxes. Instead of blaming immigrants and people on benefits because it's easier and actually making people pay their taxes we wouldn't be in such a mess. This government has made anybody in a minority (unemployed, disabled, Immigrants, Muslims) the scapegoat for the country's problems instead of holding the real culprits accountable!

My god, you're right! Why shouldn't immigrants disrespect our war dead, ignore our culture and refuse to learn our language whilst taking our money in the firm of benefits?!
In fact, we should all convert right now. It'll save them the bother of forcing us to do it in a few generation's time...

If you're this opinionated as this on Facebook, then it would be surprised if your friend unfollowed YOU!

Have you actually done any research into either BNP or UKIP?

Or are you just spouting stuff you've read in the paper or heard on TV? smiley-confused013.gif

I'd just like to know how informed your opinions are.

Over 21,000 people in Clacton didn't consider UKIP to be so awful, did they? :rotfl:

LOL @ Georgirgirl's comment on the rest of your post (which I haven't quoted).

    FWIW, I'm not championing UKIP.
    Just disagreeing with your comments.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
You just come across as someone who thinks your opinion is the only right one.
And in my book, that makes you as bad as your (unfollowed) FB 'friend'. You both have opinions that you try to force onto others.
  • I think it's rather sad that people are labelled 'bigot' these days. How childish. Just because somebody expresses a view that opposes yours, why does that suddenly give you the right to start calling them names?

I think you'll find, the definition of 'bigot' is this:

    bigot
    ˈbɪɡət/
    noun
a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions.
"don't let a few small-minded bigots destroy the good image of the city"

Thus making this entire thread hilariously contradictory and flooded with irony.

Some people have different lives and different experiences to you. They live in different places and have different types of interaction with different cultures. This leads them to form opinions based on what they know, and their opinions usually are with a slant towards doing something to improve the situation for themselves. This is not bigotry. This is common sense.

OP is a bigot for being closed minded to the views of people she brands as 'bigot', immediately slapping them down without consideration of the facts. The dictionary definition of the word shows this.

Haha, well said. It reminds me of people who love multicultural Britain until a group of travelers sets up near then or one by one the houses down their street are bought by people who aren't white. They always cry about it or end up moving
