Break it down into baby steps.
Dont worry too much about BC over summer.
It is what it is.
Maybe concentrate on paying your sister back for the moment.
Try not to leave yourself too short though.
& even though it is holidays you dont need to spend too much on entertainment for your boys. Though I know that is easier said than done!!!I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Cheers Beanie, have calmed down slightly now. I know it's the same for everybody, but it just all got on top of me today for some reason. This afternoon DH announced DS2 needs a new bike and I just laughed and stuck it on the list!!
So school is out for summer :j:j. We went bowling tonight for Family Fun Friday (DS1's choice) and it was a lovely way to celebrate. We then came home and played football in the garden.

Today started early with screams from DS2 at 6am . Turns out he'd used a teddy as his pillow and his neck was so stiff he couldn't move it. Bless him he really panicked. Safe to say he will stick with his pillow from now on!
Haven't been far today. DH went for a run with Paramedic Mate this morning while DS2 and I tidied his room and DS1 played with friends. NSD :T.
Work tonight was truly awful. I need to find something else, but that's easier said than done when you can only earn £20 per week.

Morning PLMBL,
Hope you managed more of a lie in this morning, poor DS! I often go in to the kids rooms and they are surrounding by teddies bigger than them and then they wonder why they get so hot and bothered!!!
Yay to the NSD xxMummytogirls x0 -

Beanie, I go to work primarily for the money, but also for the chance just to be 'me' for a while. The 10% staff discount helps too. I'm tied due to one of DH's benefits only allowing me to earn £20 before we start to lose money, so that equates to 3 hours of work, which should be perfectly manageable however rubbish it is.
However, DH and the boys don't like me going and DH gets quite stressed about it. This I can deal with, knowing that MiL is with them in my absence, but work itself is becoming so stressful that it's adding to my problems rather than giving me a break from them. We are so understaffed it's not funny anymore, yet we are expected to do more than ever. We've been given one new member of staff (we need about 5!) but she is less use than a chocolate fireguard. It HAS to be an act - no one can be THAT bad!! I was expecting Ant & Dec or Jeremy Beadle to pop up and say 'gotcha' on Saturday night. I'd like to think I'm a patient person, but I was about to explode and walk out in a fit of rage last night.
I hope no one thinks I'm being petty, I can't really go into detail but can't explain it properly if I don't. I know some people will think I'm privileged to only work 3 hours per week, but in reality it feels like I never stop working.
