I understand about the "you time" and work giving you a breather but only if you can pick it up at the start of your shift and put it down again on your way out. if it is stressful and causing more pressure on you then I agree it is time to look for something else.
Things to consider.....
1) How much does your 10% saving add up to every month?
2) You don't need 3 hours a week you just need £20... any locally advertised cleaning jobs/dog walking/baby sitting/ironing........?
3)how much does it "cost you to work?" petrol, bits and bobs picked up because you are in the shop and they are there? extras bought to entertain the boys and Mr L whilst you are at work? or convenience food to make dinner easy on the night you work?
I totally get what you mean, I worked with someone very similar day in day out and at the end of the first month I barely recognised myself, she drove me to despair and wound me up so much I was on the brink all of the time.
Huge Hugs darling, you are amazing and we are all rooting for you. Be kind to yourself

This might sound totally crazy but have you thought of a paper round? You could get Mr Lucky and/or the boys involved. I often see adults doing them. Good exercise too. On a different subject, are you going to watch that BBC3 programme tomorrow night at 9pm about brain injuries. Should be interesting for us.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thank you everyone for being so kind. I shall certainly look into options suggested. Mrs H, you are totally right that I spend money to get to and from work and then spends while I'm there because "I might as well get....".
SA, thank you so much for telling me about the programme, I had no idea. I shall certainly watch it - I've put a reminder in my calendar! Sounds very close to home!
Good day today - DS2 did great in his swimming lesson, DS1 had 2 brilliant hours doing freestyle parkour for just £4, and best of all I got a call to say I've won £100 of theatre tokens!! That's the Christmas Panto sorted :j:j. All that time entering comps is not a waste.

Fantastic news, Lucky; so pleased for you and your familyWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Hi lucky, no work is worth making you as stressed and unhappy as this does - you would be better off not getting the £20 a week and 10% if you could do some charity work or something (not paid perhaps) but enjoyable for that couple of hours a week relaxing. Then no pressure etc. Anyhow good luck xx

Quick catch up!
Found out yesterday that the woman I had a problem with at work has handed in her notice :j. Will go in on Saturday with an open mind and see if I still feel finding something else is the right thing to do!
Lost a pound at chub club! 3st 6lbs off in total.
Got the theatre tokens in the post yesterday morning - superfast delivery! Can't use them at Newcastle Theatre Royal (:() but can in Sunderland so will organise a trip over there soon to get booked up! This year's Panto there is Aladin.
Went to park yesterday and today, so hardly any spends so far for the holidays (only paid for crash course swimming lessons and parkour class totalling less than £20 :j).
DH was super angry yesterday and didn't know why. He's not much better today and keeps criticising the boys and I .
Watched the programme 'Me and My New Brain' last night, thanks SA for letting me know it was on. Really interesting for both DH and I from different perspectives. It made us realise on one hand how lucky DH is not to have been affected more than he has been, however a little sad that he hasn't made such a good recovery like the main girl in the programme.
Have felt quite anxious today which is annoying as I thought I was getting better with that.
Hope everyone is well XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hello Lucky - good news about the woman at work, hope this will resolve things for you now. And well done on the weight loss, you are doing fab!!!
That programme was interesting wasn't it? The woman you're talking about was very lucky to recover so well. There were some similiaraties with Mr SA but none of them had been affected by a brain tumour. He can remember doing the block thing in neuro rehab though. Sorry to hear Mr Lucky is being Mr Angry:(
As Beanie would say keep plodding xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Cheers SA. I find it very interesting how similar yet how different brain injuries can be. The brain is definitely not to be messed with if it can be helped!!
DH is craving sugar tonight. Anyone else see a pattern building?! Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
The boys are having a sleepover tonight in DS1's room. So cute XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
